Bro..AFAIK, engine knocking doesnt mean that the engine going to rosak already. Engine knocking sometime can be caused by fuel (i mean, refueling with a bad batch of fuel)..in this case, it can be solved by as easy as changing the fuel brand/station or perhaps use a higher RON fuel. Beside a bad batch of fuel, actually several factors contributed to engine knocking including higher compression (due to carbon build up inside the engine) that makes the fuel ignite prematurely (hence the knocking). In this case, using an effective engine cleaner might do to remove the carbon deposits inside the engine.

As long as u drive your car with precaution (dont over rev) & bring your car to SC for proper diagnose, i can safely say that your engine wont rosak. As i said before, if the culprit (that caused the engine knocking) can be identified, it usually can be solved with relatively ease. Please dont panic up to the extend that u wanna sell your car bro...it's nothing

i went for the testdrive for the 1.6SX (6 speed) yesterday and it was damn AWESOME!!! for sure the experience is different compared to my viva... but i've tried on the Honda Accord and Civic as well as my previous Avanza... the feeling is totally different... forte memang best..!!! Kenot wait until June laa to book the car.. i dah kawtim with the SA to get me the Red one + tinted + full body kit... but this will only confirm on June... waaarghh!!!

tinted + full body kit free? if not how much 2 add?

can try to use STP petrol treatment... great results after used that on my 1997 kancil and viva.. and i believe it should be great to new cars as well...

there is a lot of STPs product that you can choose from...

Wow bodykit 2.8k?! OEM bodykit? Bro you can get cheaper outside. I gotten mine for 1.65k. PPU original material..don't kena con by salesman

i don't know wat is the brand but the price is standard from last year still the same... spoiler is also included... no worries i will se eif i want to get the full body kit or not... just plan first maa...

Yeah, changing brand will be a good start. Like the old 1.5 Iswara cannot feed on certain brand's RON95..... But should not happen to modern injection engines.... Suspect another issue(but hope not, else it will be complicated).....

Well, in the market got a lot of brands, suggest to test it out your own.... STP won't work on my Wira.... Now am using alcohol which can act as injection cleaner and remove any moisture in the petrol....

oh means its OEM bodykit.. like mine.. full bodykit.. well if you want it you let me know i can tell u where to get it.. but must come down KL.. haha.. dont pay for RM2k plus..

is there any other alternative to have smoother/less harsh for our SX which is due to low tyre profile (215/45R17)?

i read some ppl recommend to change to higher profile with smaller rim (16" or 15")... actually i'm thinking whether our car can fit with higher profile tyre but same rim size?

example: 215/50R17... i know it may cause speedometer reading become not so accurate but theory wise the error should be +5km/h only at around 200km/h... (hopefully my formula is correct... killing my time to make the excel file as in attachment )

Get softer tyre and change it when the thread still got 30-40%, then it won't be so noisy.... But I've seen some fellows using big rims and use the tyre until really botak....

Like me, once a blue moon only I use NSHW to travel from Seremban to KL where there's a strecth of road will be very noisy, even with new tyre. Other than that, most of the roads I use are quite ok(not that noisy until I push >120km/h)...
Softer tyre are reeally quiet(compare to harder or going to botak), but it will worn off faster. So pick the best tyre that goes in between your budget and how long it can last....
Like 10 years back I used Dunlop which are really soft. But it can only last 9 months while Good year not that soft, slightly noisier but last me 1.5 years. Price are almost the same.

my window mirror at driver side have been smash..
i suspect someone try to stole my car bcoz no value things inside my car.. maybe they using hammer knock and smack until break..bcoz got 2 holes and 7 dent on my window mirror...fully crack but still intact at window frame due to safety film
