It's better to buy from reputable seller rather than saving extra hundred bucks and regret it when you face problem during warranty

just write the particulars needed in the deposit slip including order number (retrieve from the order). Pay in USD.

Then, just email the scanned receipt back to them. smile.gif

how's the rubberised surface on the 8150 like? does it look like it will wear out quick?

im thinking of an 8150 but the rubber surface is holding me back
*
It's very smooth. Very sleek.

Don't think of it as a bouncing rubber, but more of an aluminum looking rubber. It doesn't flex, actually it doesn't really feel like rubber, but it is haha

Mucro just sent me an email that my 8170 has been dispatched via DHL.
I should receive it soon.

some sager reseller already offers ATi HD6970 for NP7280. I wonder this also available for midrange model like NP8150/NP8170. hmm.gif

Well, since the 8150 can pack so much wattage, I don't think it's impossible.. Being able to support the GTX485m means that it can definitely support high end cards like the ATI 6970 too =)

We just gotta wait till 6970 is avaiable for 8150.
However, Nvidia has much mor stable drivers, I'd still stick with Nvidia. My opinion anyways =)

but as far as current pricing shows, the 6970m can save us a lot of money compared to the 485m, i still went with the 485m anyway no time to waste biggrin.gif
but i think its worth waiting for the 6970m if youre not in a hurry

NP8170 no rubbery surface, 2 hdds slot but 1kg heavier and HUGE.

NP8150 seem like dust magnet but most powerful 15 incher and more mobile.

spec and price wise not much different, get NP8170 or NP8150?

depends on your preferences and budget. If got extra, go for 8170 biggrin.gif

if budget limited and want 2nd hdd, go for 8150. exchange optical to caddy case that can put another hard disk.

if i add in caddy cage plus hdd on np8150, the price will equal np8170 biggrin.gif

my concern is more bout the dust vs weight/portability hahaha
