Towards the mid of year 2009 when these LED backlit LCD's were launched then it captured me with the good PQ quality and a very nice design etc etc. Albeit the price was a bit on the high side if you compare it now but back then it is still considered cheap. Have you fellas ever bought SD units of Plasma for the selling prices then at more than 15k for a 42". Now you all are really blessed that prices are very cheap now.

Then the Plasma that I had then which did served me well was relegated and very seldom used. My LCD's are also put to use but only for the right reasons.

Needless to say all these tech toys have different characteristics and their pro and cons but IMO my next purchase would still be a LED prefereably with fully dimming capabilities. Sometimes when you have too many of the same things you will get bored.

It doesn't really matter how many comparisons there are out there. What is most important is to have your own view and select what you like and not what other people like. Learn to make your own decisions.
