Hi Guys,
I'm heading out to the beach this weekend and thinking of getting a polarized filter.
I see in the market there are these digital (Pro1D) and the older type PL-CIR.
What's the difference between these two?

I'm just stuck there because of the word Digital.

May I ask what's the advantages of saving in RAW compared to JPEG?

I've tried using LR for the imports and editing, but everytime the file is imported, when i click fit my screen says loading and then i see that they auto adjust the picture for me. Why is this hapening? what setting have i missed or accidently clicked?

p/s: does this mean by saving just RAW the settings like portriat, neutral, vivid and such will have no effect? & what color mode u guys use? sRGB or Adobe? what's the diff?
