Can we talk a bit about bag here other than only body and lens? unsure.gif

Since it's Nikon fans thread, we can share what bag we used to keep our beloved DSLR in safe tongue.gif

Any recommendation for sling bags within RM100~RM200++ budget?
*
I using Bagman L size.
The build quality is grade OK lah since you pay what u use.
but if u have tight budget but need plenty space of camera bags space, the bagman are consider good choice rclxms.gif

p/s: dont judge the bags by its price. sometimes, it more better that expensive one wink.gif

*sometimes lah. not most of the time laugh.gif

hi all! need a lil opinion here. i a newbie at PG, and have a basic D5000 with 18-55mm vr lens for about a year now. i think its bout time to get my lonely camera some new lens. prob is, i have no idea what to get next.  with ltd budget, ive narrowed down to

vr 70-300mm
vr 55-300mm
vr 55-200mm

any suggestion/opinion on this? or alt lens that i shud get? big thanks!
*
vr 70-300mm = cant be AF since this lens doesn't have motor. this lens are AF
vr 55-300mm = new lens, improve local length and VR version, now are VRII
vr 55-200mm = old lens, if have choice, take 55-300 wink.gif

so, take 55300 rclxms.gif

p/s: correct me if worng smile.gif

70-300 all the time for me =) !

50-300mm slow focusing , you need practice more to get accurate and sharp if you wan capture wildlife and sport .

what i mean slow focusing is slower than 70-300mm

http://mansurovs.com/nikon-55-300mm-vr-review

i was thinking to get 55-300mm last time , it is a good and affordable len but not what i want , i going to 70-300mm but of course lar 70-200mm better !

So both the XS and Pro1D is hard to clean? Aisey...

I asked this guy working in a camera shop about filters suitable for the 2470... he didn't even mention B+W much less Hoya. He directly answered Rodenstock & Heliopan. I know Heliopan makes filters...but I'm really in the dark about Rodenstock.

Can anyone tell me about these 2 filter brands?
*
heliopen? i thought helicopter.. laugh.gif
never heard that kind of filter.

my dream filter also b+w XS, but any ppl said it's hard to clean shocking.gif

Sorry for asking again.
But I would like to know the difference between the Polarized Pro1D vs. PL-CIR?
I'm just stuck there because of the word Digital.
*
Pro1d just like normal UV filter.
the pl-cir are Polarizing filter

I still undecided whether I should get the D7000 body with a lens or the D7000 kit straight away sad.gif

The D7000 body now on sale, RM200 lower at RM3,600 while the D7000 kit maintained at RM4,450.

What option I can do with RM5,000 budget as a start?
*
get a kit and nissin Di622, IMO lah tongue.gif
u also need to consider buying a cleaning kit, CIR-Polarize. screen protector, buy another card..smile.gif
