Hye guys, wanna ask for ur opinion.
My wife n me suddenly got an invitation to go holiday to new zealand this july (winter season dat time). What lens should i bring there? Actually im funding to buy 70200 but dun think its suitable for travel right..
Or should i stick to my plan buying 70200 and start building muscles now?
Budget is around price for 70200, less then rm7k.
Thank you.

QUOTE(fubs @ Feb 16 2011, 05:12 PM) carry less/lighter gear if you want to enjoy the holiday. if you want to take pics first, holiday second, by all means, get the 70200. at least that's how i do it. carrying kilograms on your back is not fun! So i'll bring my d90 w BG, 11-16 for scenery and also 70200 as my all time lens right? I think i can manage that.

Nice shot bro, looks yummy. how is the lighting of this pics? Btw guys, im going to travel to some winter country. what is the precaution i should take as this is the first time i travel with my dslr, and also to winter country. And what is the best aperture to use for landscape shot? because i find my pictures not that sharp at F8 or F10 (HDR bracketing thou). am using Tamron 17-50mm VC. Thanks a lot in advance! Ive been to nami island during winter. Dat time snowy and the temperature at least -4 degree(celcius) plus the wind make it colder.. IMO, u need to bring extra batteries. During my visit there, my sony cybershot can only last 20-30 pics and the photographer who accompany us (he use dslr, cant remember what model) also change batteries of his dslr a few time. I wonder how low temperature affect the mechanism inside the battery.

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 3 2011, 10:19 AM) any sifu here got use ipad? got transfer photos to ipad for better view when not in PC? I am no sifu but its my practice to copy image from the card to ipad, so that my family member can view them on the go. I did it while travelling in car/van/bus. Of course im not driving. If u feel in the mood to edit the photo with ipad, u may use photogene. Very easy to use editor This post has been edited by hapeace: Mar 3 2011, 10:29 AM
