QUOTE(KTCY @ Mar 3 2011, 01:52 PM) I find 35/1.8 soft. At f/2.8 still not as sharp as f/2 Haha... I totally forgotten bout the 55-200, borrowed my fren, dislike the lens, the speed really 35/1.4G better. Quite sharp at 1.4 stepping down no need to say la Added on March 3, 2011, 2:01 pm Sell ! QUOTE(aldosoesilo @ Mar 3 2011, 02:06 PM) Noo.... It's good enuf for me, juz I prefer the perspective of 50mm as a portrait lens, I don't use it as a walk around lens. Den for portrait, the image on 35mm1.8 is not that flattering though, n I notice I alwiz use the 50mm end of the 17-50 for portrait more compared to my 35mm primeThis post has been edited by Kent3888: Mar 3 2011, 02:14 PM |

QUOTE(geekster129 @ Mar 4 2011, 01:07 PM) for me, sometimes shades can provide some good shadows and highlights, and stop down available light a bit. It tends to saturate the color a bit, which is my favourite spot to shoot sometimes. Otherwise, if available light overpowers the subject too much, it tends to make the whole pic look flat, and doesn't look appealing to me. Kind of a fan of highlights and tones recently. I felt if shoot under shade, u'll totally lost the background if you want your subject to expose properly.... Coz the background will b lit by a flash bang |
