what i meant was like, for example

when i'm on 1mb streamyx, i got like 100-200 kbps for direct downloads

how bout those 10mb and 20mb?
*
rule of thumb, divide by 8.
for 10mb package, u shall get around 1.3mb/s
20mb package = 2.5mb/s

The speed is abit crap at night for sure due to heavy traffic. It was already like tat when I was under streamyx. As long as I dun dl at night the speed is actually acceptable for heavy website n YouTubing. I only dl past mid night n leave it there when I sleep.

as long as there's sufficient ventilation, i.e. not in a closed room, your modem should b good.
my modem is located at the living room side table, plenty of cooling
