Is this issue caused by too many users and not enough bandwidth? I think i read somewhere that tm is in the process of migrating/upgrading their servers.
What a bad time for me to subscribe if thats the case |

What I can say is, inside news. TM is doing a major upgrade on their end. Expect slow speeds during night.

Finally my speed moved from 1.2mbps back to 5mbps. If you plot a graph you'll see a linear increase from 9pm to 3am. NOT COOL TMNET. Night time is when people use the net. grrrr.....

For all vip5 users here when u say u r getting 0.8-1.5 mb of dl, u mean to say it's Mbps or mb/s. If it's Mbps I need to divide by 8 right to get the dl speed?

Looks like theres traffic congestion during evening till night - roughly till 3am This post has been edited by Something Else: Mar 31 2011, 07:32 AM |

Dataran Palma in Ampang - both UniFi and Streamyx have been down since 23:00 last night to business premises - supposed to be doing maintenance (with no notification) until 03:00 but as of 08:45 nothing is working.
Seems TM has no notion of how business actually work - RM1200+/month worth of Internet paid for as business can't be done without it, but TM just takes down the service whenever they feel like it, without providing notification or alternatives. Luckily 2nd backup of Jaring Wireless is still working. |

lol
Rattan is happy with his connection those who got back the speed they want during midnight around 2-3am is normal. what pisses some ppl is that when it's night time around 7pm onwards, the speed will start to drop to below 1mb and that's prime time when ppl come back from work to use the net. |

Just wondering if anyone has successfully getting rebates from Unifi. The sent an SMS on Tuesday saying that they're going to do maintenance on the underground cable at Sg Buloh from 9AM to 7PM.. but it has been few days now I'm without Unifi connection. Neighbours in my area are all okay but they're not willing to send their technician to my house and said that they're still haven't finished doing the maintenance. It is now Thursday and mine is still not up yet.. no LINK or AUTH LEDs on my modem which I suspect they've changed something and forgotten to reconnect my line. They've promised to send someone tomorrow afternoon if thing doesn't resolve. But .. damn, I've never complained about my connection, they cut it off and now me without Unifi for many days and they're not willing to send someone to check it out.. I want a rebate for how many days I lost my Unifi usage.. let me know what I need to do..

QUOTE(hackwire @ Mar 30 2011, 09:42 PM) guys, please share anything good news like the TM support group and care to compliment their effort also. Don't just bash them when something goes wrong than kept quiet of anything good they did. Haha, people come to this thread when they've problem .. so, yeah.. you won't find any that would compliment for the work done when something works as supposed to. They're service provider, if the problem caused by us .. and fixed by them, sure, I'll compliment them.. but if the problem caused by them .. why I need to compliment them when they fixed the problem?Today, I even received a call asking me whether my problem is solve. Thank YOu UNIFI. REally Appreciate the follow up. My next pursuit is the rebate . Wish me good luck on this.. |
