I would like to ask about something with my eye spectacles.
I had a older pair of spectacles before where my Left eye is:
-6.75, -0.75 x 120
And had a newer pair of spectacles where the Left is also the same prescription.
However, the old pair had a sharp enough left eye vision that I can see a 19 inch LCD monitor - text and font , clearly from 3 feet away. When I close my Right side, my Left side has almost equal sharpness as Right.
But for the newer pair, the Left vision is significantly blurrer and I cannot concentrate on LCD screens, especially reading fonts. It give me strain because I cannot focus well on the words with Right side lens having sharp vision while left side lens blurry.
However, in daily life driving etc. I don't have a problem seeing things using the NEWER SPECS.
I do not know why the newer specs LEFT lens doesnt show text sharply from 3 feet distance for reading on LCD monitor.
I tried closing my right and see only through left with this picture:

I can see that the lines at No. 3 cluster is not so clear compared with the rest.
Expecially the topmost line of Cluster No. 3.
Previously the optician noted that both the spectacles had similar lens type.
So what can be wrong with the newer specs? 2 similar prescription, similar type of lens but 1 is blurry.
Is the astigmatism axis fitted wrongly?
I tried to hold my spectacle in front of my eyes, position my spectacle a little bit tilted clockwise and anticlockwise for the Left side, trying to see if I get a clearer vision on the left, but I cannot be able to reliably notice any big improvements.
However though, it seems like if I see through the lower right corner of the left lens ('right' means from wearer perspective, near the nosepad), I get some improvements looking through here.
So is my lens power wrongly grinded by the lab?
Or is it wrongly fitted? Cylinder too much / too little? Axis wrong?
