Got the best batt life out from PowerFroyo 1.5 , going back to king_3D_rom 1.8 later

1.8 just came out today , might as well give it a try since its suppose 2 fix the lag with the new kernel and also improved batt ...... Oh ya , acura htc is good as well beside powerfroyo , give it a try but make sure u follow the instruction coz its kinda funny , reboot 3 times b4 setting up anything

Nope , movies or photos from the pad need 3D glasses to view while on the phone ,as u should know , its not needed ..... Not sure if a converter can do the job but was told the file is different anyway

Dual-channel architecture requires a dual-channel-capable motherboard and two or more DDR, DDR2 SDRAM, or DDR3 SDRAM memory modules. The memory modules are installed into matching banks, which are usually color coded on the motherboard. These separate channels allow each memory module access to the memory controller, increasing throughput bandwidth. If the motherboard has two pairs of differently colored DIMM sockets (the colors indicate which bank they belong to, bank 0 or bank 1), then one can place a matched pair of memory modules in bank 0, but a different-capacity pair of modules in bank 1, as long as they are of the same speed. U r talking about dual core bro , dont expect anything more than 6 hours with continuous gaming .....batt life of o3d is basically on par with SGSII yet with custom rom , sgsii is better by far for now

I took my Omnia HD in to claim for warranty with a line of dead pixel across my screen , running in HyperX .... I burned my SGS processor from OC ..... None of the occasions i failed to claim my warranty and was told personally by the technician is PJ center , as long as the sticker is intact , meaning the hardware is not tampered with , u can claim your warranty

Like I mentioned previously , which rom are u on ? v10d ? v10e ? Some versions like v10j are known for their issues of random reboot . If its not a known problem for the rom , means some of the apps u installed are giving u random reboot ....
Sadly , NONE of the custom roms are on 2.3 , all are based on official release with most of the apps removed , ram optimized , etc ...... A nandroid backup is what u do to backup your whole standard rom now just in case u wanna go back to stock rom which is in your case

Custom kernel was initially made for 10j , getting rid of the random reboot and also xtra tweak to the kernel such as better batt life , better performance , etc ....... No sure if 10k got the random reboot issue .
v2.1 is an improvement for v2.0 yet i dun really use king_3D . Dun like the way he do his rom , he is 2 full of himself with his name practically everywhere on the phone . If u like stock kernel , I still feel Thaiz is a better rom than his with better batt life and performance . Just in case u wanna try custom kernel , just flash the kernel over
Last reminder , DONT use Titanium Backup to restore your data , just your apps alone as it will crash the system , giving FC and random reboot ...... Cheers

a kernel can be downloaded on its own later on to flash but unless u know how to flash back original kernel , extracted from the zip file , u cant go back to original kernel unless u re-flash the whole rom again ....

Try stock kernel , see how it goes 4 u ..... Besides , custom kernel for O3D is not very good yet unlike the rest due to lack of kernel developers

Yes , a complete wipe its a MUST .... 3 wipes which is data/factory reset , wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache which u can find in your CWM menu .....

For messages , u can download " MyBackUP " apps from market to save your sms or an easier way is to download " SMSBackup+ " , sync it to your gmail and all your sms is stored there . After u backup , just redownload your the apps and restore it back

MyBackup is also used to store apps which u installed in your current rom which u can restore later on . However , its advisable to restore only your apps , not apps + data which might crash the new rom . In other words , u lose all the 3 stars in your Angry Bird n have to start again from zero

Photos , Movies , Songs wouldnt be deleted unless u do a wipe of your sd card manually as those are stored in your internal memory card or even your external card

Just follow the guide here . . . . All the tools and drivers u need is inside . For the rom , just dl the stock rom of your choice
