After driving the hybrid for 3 days, it is a big change compared to my old civic....the car is great in the city and i do enjoy the engine start stop feature esp there are no traffic jams in ipoh town....

Fuel consumption is excellent and the 40 litre fuel tank is very friendly to my pocket...I average about 100kms a day travelling from my house to my workplace in Kampar. I manage to hit about 155 km/h during a test run stretch and overtaking is a breeze....

My only concerns are the noisy dunlop tyres....since they are the same size as the Honda City tyres, they only have goodyear assurance and conti CSC5 at the moment....I've been using Michelin tyres on all my cars but they do not have one for 185/55/16 at the moment...can anyone recommend a pair of quieter tyres

Seems like you're the 1st person I know in this forum whose Insight came with Dunlop tyres...I think most of the Insight here comes with Bridgestone Turanza. Not sure which is better thou
Hmm yet to see any accessories from Mugen and Modulo (not by Honda Malaysia) in Malaysia...was told that it was due to the tsunami sad.gif

The dunlop patterns are quite aggressive hence the noise....never used dunlops before so i wouldn't know how it compares

CC5 should be quiet as it is supposed to be comfort tyres

I think I would not want CC5 as I previously had bad experience with conti tyres

Break in periods are never mentioned in the manuals, just a precautionary practice from the olden days since not all parts are bedded in properly....I adhere to it at some point but u can't help in when ur hybrid is tailgated by a KKKL bus going at 140kmph....smile.gif
