never heard of it, personally used wow-pro addon before, previously was the Jame's leveling guide. Pretty solid. As for the http://boosterlvl.com/, never try.

I do not recommend any leveling add-on as there may be keyloggers or something installed

- Don't bother if you are playing on US servers , for TW servers , I dont think its that serious. For US servers , its yeah kinda serious.

I shall object on your statement tho, i've been using wow-pro leveling addon for my 5 toons in WoW US during the TBC era, and i don't see my account being hacked not even half of its fur.

Just out of curiosity I downloaded the addon and check whats in the zip.

Doesn't have any keyloggers or such.

But what I know is there are alot of ppl taking opportunity to use this kinda addons to make $ - selling them for a price or sneaking in a keylogger,

So i guess not all are like that.

Anyway question: does the wow-pro addon go mainly on questline? any dungeons?

Things have changed and the lua had gained extra stuff , compared to TBC. Thats why you see more addons coming for cata. It might be safe back then

Remember old versions of program without spywares/bloatwares , think of it as that way

Was checking more on wow-pro.

and seems it is pretty legit as the addon was feature on wow insider in 2009.

http://wow.joystiq.com/2009/03/05/intervie...-pro/#continued

Imma gonna give it ago to get my achievements. It quite pain in the ass to alt tab for wowhead and going tru the list one by one will drive me insane. lol

I have to agree with kEazYc, i have similar experience, wow-pro is a good site and the addons is a plus for those who use to alt tab in window mode to check out jame's guide. Just ensure u download from reliable source. U can get keylogger everywhere on the net.

Added on February 14, 2011, 6:03 pmThere is a time when quest helper not build in yet. That is when u need such addons.

everyone have their own way, not everyone enjoy leveling tho.

Hmm. Blizz questhelper is actually pretty good (does bug out occasionally), don't see why you need third party addons for that.

If you have to, to be on the safe side, just scan your addons folder for any .exe files & delete them wink.gif

Back when I was clearing quests on my main for Loremaster during mid-WotLK, I used an addon called Lightheaded. Look it up, basically pulls comments from wowhead and displays it in-game in reference to the quests you have in your quest log. No need to alt-tab out to desktop/browser to check wowhead. Helped me a lot.

Ok I had a go with this add on..

i must say i am really impressed with it.

it actually able to show what quest you have completed and highlight those that you have not.. and show you to the npc/mob (drop quest) to get em.

I'm think the addon actually mines the information in a saved variable in WTF folder.. not sure how it works.. but this add on does alot more than what blizzard should have done.

This will really help alot to get those quest achievement.

I must say this definately rocks the like of blizzard questhelper.

If you think ingame questhelper rocks.. please do yourself a favour and download wow-pro.

If you're afraid of keyloggers (even though it's pretty legit since it is feature on wow dedicated sites) then well.. it your loss smile.gif

Just wished I used this sooner for my pally alt! Even then it is so flexible because you can choose to sellect the best place to level, it's all guided..

people have their own preference on addons, some may like it but some dun

it's like how some people would stick to damagemeter over dr damage
it's like how some people prefer default blizz UI over other UI enhance
it's like how some people still going, 'LULULULULULULUL U R NUB, UR GEE-ESS IZ LOW' when himself dun even bother to know the fight and relied on his guildies (aka carried)

as for me, the UI has higher memory; it's a no-no for me
