QUOTE(astria @ Feb 15 2011, 09:41 PM) honestly, i think the hardware is fine... as long as it's comparable to Nexus phones it's good enuf... by the time there's dual core support for smartphone, we probably ve changed to a new phone already... average user dun care wat's running inside... they care only abt screen size, megapixels, the size of the SD card included and battery life... as long as it runs the apps, that's fine... I totally agree with you...which makes me think why would anyone buy Desire S when all the important day-to-day stuff, like screen size, megapixels, memory are all EXACTLY SIMILAR with original Desire? Since by the time it starts selling the original Desire would be dead cheap....

QUOTE For all you HTC Desire Users that have not Rooted your phone, a Representative from HTC has confirmed that Gingerbread will be released for HTC Desire will be released about 2 months after HTC Desire S is released. So this is looking towards the end of Quater 2 beginning of Quarter 3. This will depend on what carrier you are with, with branded HTC Desire’s this could be a while after it is released to unbranded Desire’s. You know what carriers are like they do not want you to get it straight away and their excuse is that they need to test it. Don’t they think that it has not been tested by HTC. Good news. Desire will be officially updated to Gingerbread. Source

QUOTE(tyja @ Feb 22 2011, 04:25 PM) to show battery, temperature, date, voltage, power state, power status, and many more. Erm a noob question about Minimalistic Text. Does the free version offer the option to put the divider between information? Can't seem to find it in the settings..

QUOTE(jamieshin @ Feb 24 2011, 02:08 AM) hi everyone~ i wanna ask y the HTC music player cannot read chinese words? or my setting gt problem? or i need to install anythgs to make it work? Its a known issue for HTC phones. Use Mp3tag to remove the tag of your chinese songs and it will be fine. Only thing is now your artist and album names are all gone..
