PewPew okay what..the controls are good, exactly the same as MiniSquadron's. I mean yes its quite a challenge (so far only got a bronze medal) but then its so damn smooth and beautiful every time I play it I just stare at how buttery smooth that game can run.

Lmao he meant it in another manner =P

Basically Desire is worth the price you pay for lol.

If I waited for a month before I bought my Desire I could get a G2 for only an extra RM147 lolol. But nevermind, best purchase ever!

We now have a true successor:

HTC Desire S:
Everything same except:
MSM8255 processor (finally Adreno 205)
768MB RAM
1.3MP secondary camera,
1450mAH battery
Android 2.3 (redundant)

Using CM7 here, its so damn good, save for performance issues. Previously it scored 1200 at the Quadrant test (Cm6) and now it dropped to 1100. And the homescreen isn't as smooth as CM6. Oh well, its still an experimental ROM.

You can't access to so many Apps and only 1XX mb storage, Froyo a2sd & laggy? L0LWUT

A bit indeed. I have never seen a custom ROM with good battery life and stable performance that is equal to the stock ROM.

I tried LeeDroid, and GingerVillain as well, both performance is just like CM6. Now trying Cm7, hopefully battery use isn't that intensive.

CM6 is alright..I guess I do agree it's a bit like leedroid to me.

But, how did you judge it's performance? If you use it the same way as you would use stock then you might as well don't flash?

The whole meaning about flashing is taking control of your phone. Controlling everything and scrutinising it's voltage/clock/additional features without losing much battery usage is the idea, or is it? tongue.gif Oh and I can tell you the difference between using smartass and ondemand is big. Battery bar can maintain longer. Took a few hours before it drops 1%. Normally it was 1 right? wink.gif Temperature also affect too.
*
I flashed because I hate Sense (flameshield up!) and plus I love the look of AOSP. I don't really mind battery that much lol.

On smartass..perhaps I should try it. I have been ondemand as long as I remember, maybe that's the problem..

Maybe Atrix will take over Desire's popularity.

Honestly, if the Desire had a better screen, it would have been perfect.

Not when the Atrix has its bootloader locked.
