Hey, can u guys tell me how u guys register online for the 1+1 warranty ?
Coz i inquire the HTC customer service, this is the reply i got : QUOTE Thank you for contacting HTC. With reference to your query, there is no need to do any registration for the warranty. Please keep the invoice or receipt for your phone. Later when you need to send your phone for servicing, just bring in one copy of the invoice or the receipt for us to check out your warranty period. We are sorry if there is any confusion but there is no extended warranty and all products sold in SEA are of 1 year warranty. Urgent pls. Thanks. QUOTE(lohwen89 @ Feb 21 2011, 12:50 AM) “To also help with Battery Life you can do these steps exactly: 1) Turn your device ON and Charge the device for 8 hours or more 2) Unplug the device and Turn the phone OFF and charge for 1 hour 3) Unplug the device Turn ON wait 2 minutes and Turn OFF and charge for another hour Your battery life should almost double, we have tested this on our devices and other agents have seen a major difference as well” This will work on a battery that used for a week+ ?? |

Added on February 21, 2011, 7:05 pmHey guys, i planned to buy the 1850 battery as the main battery and my stock battery as a spare one.. And get an external charger for it. QUOTE(ShinnKQ @ Feb 21 2011, 10:06 PM) Store batteries properly. If your battery will be out of use for a while, disconnect it from the phone and store it in a cool and dry but not freezing place (an airtight container in a refrigerator, but not a freezer). Don't keep it with metal objects that might move around and short-circuit the terminals. Lithium ion batteries are not rated to operate at refrigerated temperatures, so let the battery sit outside the refrigerator for at least an hour before using it again. Lithium ion batteries oxidize least when they are stored at 40% charge. Never store a lithium battery at low voltage. Recharge batteries after storage. ^ http://www.ehow.com/how_5073544_store-cell...ne-battery.html Credits to xda poster Thanks for the info mate~ Becoz i planned to use both battery.. Mainly on the high capacity batt. Then whenever i go travel or go to college, i'll bring the spare batt with me so that i need not to worry about out of battery problem anymore.. If the High cap battery is capable to tahan the usage, then i might not even touch the stock batt. |

Finally got my phone rooted.
Downloading CM 6.1.1 now.. @.@ slow speed.. P/S : Regarding the SunGlobal battery.. 1) It crashed my battery indicator apps (Forgot what name), stucked @ 100% for few hours.. Make me felt excited bout that. But then found out that my battery level is actually @ 75% (Downloaded a new battery indicator, which show an accurate reading) 2) The temperature are inaccurate. The heat i can feel from the back of the phone, are exactly same as the stock battery. But instead of showing 30 celsius , it kept on showing 24+ celsius. *Mayb i'm still new to the phone when i changed the battery, i dont see much improvement on using SunGlobal 1850mAh battery YET This post has been edited by hseyrann00: Feb 26 2011, 02:01 AM |

QUOTE(fazryle @ Feb 26 2011, 02:12 AM) why downloading CM6.1.1 ? there is the latest version CM 7 rite? come on , my 1st time rooting , i should get on some stable rom 1st.. sun global battery 1850mah? how long the battery survive? then i'll off to jump here and there.. hehehe.. Now i dont even fully know how Android works.. About that battery, if left idle can really tahan long. Today i fully charged @ 7am. Light usage on wifi (<30mins) , bluetooth (<10mins) , Games (30mins?? not sure) , some phone calls and sms. The rest of the time just minimal unlock the phone and sliding within homepages. Left around 70% @ 2pm. Then i dint notice bout the battery edi. |

Last night is too late to try other method.. Will try to manual download the ROM and try to flash it again later.. QUOTE(arrie @ Feb 26 2011, 07:23 AM) Saw a standard price RM88 at Sunway Pyramid. Not sure if can nego.QUOTE(iamkent @ Feb 26 2011, 08:36 AM) My battery always at 24+- celsius. I felt that the sensor got some problem.Or my battery give the sensor a wrong reading. Anyway, as far as i know .. low temperature are no harm (Not to that extreme low) . unless it's damp weather, that will DAMN your phone. only High temperature will damage your phone. |
