i just create a simple one.

Phone ascending
context
state - incoming call
task
ringer volume - 3
wait 2 sec
ringer voume - 4
wait 2 sec
ringer volume -5
wait 2 sec
ringer volume -6
wait 2 sec
ringer volume -7
wait 2 sec
ringer volume -8
wait 2 sec

exit task
ringer volume - 5 (you can set 0 if you want to use as daily usage)

i'm using sleepmode activate at 11pm. so i just add task on my sleepmode profile to off above profile and on exit task sleep mode to on back above profile.
im really dont have idea how n where to start... rclxub.gif

hi
may i know is it possible to have free papago installer (or what we call it?) for my desire? last time they want to charge me rm80 for the papago installations...

i read some of your comments above...so the apps and widgets were store in internal memory, not the sdcard ya? O_o

wink.gif Demanding people.

Yeah because when you change SD to data storage, your phone can't access apps and widgets so then it will be 'broken' then you need to restart to be able to see them again.
*
hah! shocking.gif
so not much apps/ widgets are able to store in internal memory...we only have 150Mb rite?
its such a waste of my sdcard memory...i thought i could store tons of apps inside there cry.gif

rationally, the apss/widgets from market will in default installed in internal memory...
how bout the apps/widgets that we transfer from pc to sdcard (.apk files rite?)...will it store in sdcard or internal memory after installation process done?

is it possible to install apps/widgets into sdcard?
i dont mind restarting my phone after data storage mode, if the apps/widgets will working as usual n no effect to my homescreen settings (eg. list of apps i put there) after restarting the phone...

if the internal storage is your main problem, then there are ways to solve almost completely,
but that would require you to root + s-off your phone
you need a non-Sense ROM that has A2SD+ and also flash a different hboot for larger internal storage (/data) partition
but the end result is totally worth it.
currently I'm on MIUI ROM with N1 table hboot and applied the "cmtd storage solution for MIUI",
now I have total of 286mb of internal storage, with 199mb left after 83 user apps installed
just an example to give you an idea what you will get after going through all the trouble of rooting + s-off
*
This is completely new things for me...
so this is what you guys mention bout 'rooting'?

QUOTE(ShinnKQ @ Feb 16 2011, 07:00 AM)
Nah, this phone was blindly designed where it's not really aiming for >30 apps or so.

If you really wanted a phone for such i9000 would've been a more ideal sol.
You can do App2SD shift via Manage Applications but it will still not be enough eventually.

Unless you are a faithful user then better get yourself an ipod tough like me tongue.gif =]

or you could wait for SGS 2 to come out then go swap for SGS (has 1Gb internal nand iirc)
*
yeah, the i9000 did caught my attention back to the days when im surveying for my new phone...but finally i bought the desire...maybe bcoz of its UI...i love it so much...well, that time i thought the apps in default can be stored in sd...

u mean ipod touch rite?
well, im aim for ipad (or something like it...whole lots of things like ipad on market nowadays...) for my next purchase...maybe next years...im not a well paid guy...

i shud think what shud i put in my sd...still got 7Gb left... sweat.gif

QUOTE(phgmail @ Feb 16 2011, 01:18 PM)

Have you checked what is running in the background with highest %?

Tried reset?

when the apps started to slow down n lagging, so do the homescreen...happen concurrently

OF course they will lag concurrently.... slow down / lagging probably means you do not have enough ram or you are having a 100% CPU load then starts getting sluggish in everything, and especially Sense Homescreen.

Yesh apps that are running in the background.

Do you have one of those mobile antivirus thingys?

What kind of apps you have? Are you sure your sd card isn't dying? Perform stress test on it.

It could be your launcher ..?

Original question is too vague.
*
hmm...i shud check the cpu load once my desire slowing down...
im quite sure it is not ram, since im always check my ram status, but a\rarely check cpu load...

im using Lookout antivirus...get free on market...dont know whether it is ok or not...selected because got lots of +ve feedback...

got lots of apps...im not downloading new one recently...dont know lah if the lagging caused by one of my apps (maybe become corrupted after updating???)

quite sure sd card is ok...i still can access my sd perfectly when the prob above not occur...
n how to stess test the sd???

im not using 3rd party launcher...

n yes, the problem causes is too vast to troubleshoot...maybe i need to uninstall the apps one by one...see what happen...
