I wondered if anyone got try the Gelaskins for Desire? Expensive... Rm60...+ not really useful..lol

i have a very irritating problem..
i have some contacts linked to facebook..
and sumtimes thier phone number in facebook is a little different..
from my situation, the facebook phone number appears in my phone as for example 19-1234567.. but the real phone number is 019-1234567..

and if i want to sent sms to this number, that wont happen.. urghh..
anyone has solution?

u can link ur SIM contact number to the facebook contact.

HAHA nice coincidence, I tried to sync up my sim contacts with FB ones last night, and Guess what? Different names. Trolololol...

Mates it's been a good time here on Desire Forum, I am very sad while saying this, I have sold my HTC Desire and bought Samsung Galaxy S. So due to this reason I shall not be able to continue my theming on desire anymore.

But it was very nice being here. Thank you everyone for cooperation and guidance, it has been very learning experience form all of you great people here on HTC Desire forum.

Solution was temporarily using Multi Mount SD app.
Can tell the difference.


BTW, how to flash Radios if you are using CWM 3.0 Gingerbread? It aborted for me...Said switch to Edify scripting (updater-script & update-binary) to create working update zip packages..

Like , the gmail , map , Facebook , titanium , superuser , sometime some game , a min ago I kill it all , after 5min I click task killer . That few apps is there again .. wtf !

Just wanna share my knowledge....I also face this before....but after I realize it's an android, i think we don't need a task manager anymore...i uninstall all task manager that i used before...

That mean , u just don't use task killer and just don't care the apps close ?? Because everything I play games I won't exit it bu step , I just click home d kill it .. it wrong I do that ?

yup...no need to worry...android os is different...that fella pandai to manage the apps that are running backgroud...it is better the app in sleep mode then need to run it again...

Yes..agree with that...everytime you kill the app and the app keep restart maybe take more process and reduce ur battery faster (my experience)

If you want everything from your GMAIL, delete all contacts from phone, do a factory reset, etc, then sync it. All the GMAIL will be transferred over. But i doubt that is your intention. Just sync lar. Sync is better, it'll always take latest updates. Ex:, if you delete on phone, it'll delete in GMAIL. If you add in GMAIL, it'll transfer over to your phone. For me, i sync to my Outlook contacts via my office Exchange. Works great.

Done. Thank you Matrix. I did a hard-reset on my phone. Enter again the g-mail account and got all the contact back.

nope. still havent found latest ehem version for tasker..
i only knew aboutur personal number coz i opened the file using .xml in pc.

bro, if u kind enough, can u post screenshot for birthday task.
for now, i set manually for each of my contact in different profile.

like others said, task killer is useless in android.
it is even drain juice more bcoz it kill ALL app even app that os is needed to run.
so os will start it over again and this is consuming power..
just use auto manager like tyja suggested..

yap..it is damn lag when typing in browser.
but no lag when typing in fb. wonder why..

why u need cwm 3?
if ok with 2, just stay with it.
kali- suggest use cwm 3 to use his script.
if u dont use it, better stay with cwm 2.
i noticed in cwm 3, it dont full wipe data.
dont know about latest update..
