QUOTE(Captain'z @ Mar 5 2011, 10:23 AM) Thanks...already download and testing... i think that is normal..rather impressive i would say.. Screen Off - Wifi ON Active APP - Go! Chat Pro, Yahoo Messenger, Set CPU, 3G Watchdog Currently on Oxygen 2.0.1 2011/03/05 @ 10:16:52 AM = -147mA (ON Screen - during I checked the history) 2011/03/05 @ 10:15:52 AM = -8mA 2011/03/05 @ 10:14:52 AM = -5mA 2011/03/05 @ 10:13:52 AM = -7mA 2011/03/05 @ 10:12:52 AM = -8mA Is that OK..?? Don't know how to translate it... i only got below 10mA screen off if no data or wifi connection. if got data or wifi, surely more than 80mA. wonder if there is background apps that taking juice or it is standard for cm7.. anyone can confirm? |

QUOTE(Captain'z @ Mar 5 2011, 11:39 AM) i think wifi. but since wifi is faster than data, if we download anything, it wont be for a long time.IOW, wifi use more juice but for a shorter time. but since i always on wifi, thats why my battery drop so fast. if u on wifi only when want to use and off it after that, i think it is better than data.. QUOTE(iamkent @ Mar 5 2011, 11:51 AM) drop till 20% u mean? and then auto off?imo, u need to calibrate ur battery. our battery should not auto off on 20%. below 10% could be.. |

QUOTE(magnumrolez @ Mar 5 2011, 02:12 PM) I jz rooted my desire, do I install custom Rom thru Rom manager or in recover to wipe all d data? Which Rom is smoothest or fastest? Leedroid, neophyte, opendesire? congratz b4 u install any rom, make a nandroid of ur ori rom first. this is safe plan if u ever wanted return back. instal rom in recovery. if u r looking for fast n smooth, aosp is better choice but most ppl play with sense rom first b4 jump to aosp. |

QUOTE(ShinnKQ @ Mar 5 2011, 06:22 PM) shoot..very good.u r on which rom? i couldnt even get below 50mA on wifi. QUOTE(LuffyPSP @ Mar 5 2011, 07:56 PM) gud. now try cyanogen! you'll notice its the fastest and most featured packed rom in the whole universe! hell yeah! couldnt agree more tried oxygen today, but return back to cm. oxygen cant customize much. cant even unlock n wake up using trackball. Added on March 5, 2011, 8:09 pm QUOTE(tanjinjack @ Mar 5 2011, 08:05 PM) Did yours lag very much when you try to install apps? did u reflash rom?I found myself getting caught into a lag with LeeDrOid 2.3d A2SD+, and even scarier lag in ReflexTSense (HD Rom), but the A2SD in Oxygen works just smoothly! some roms are lag if u just flash it once. i make a habit of reflashing at least twice before using and customize.. QUOTE(tanjinjack @ Mar 5 2011, 08:14 PM) What customisation can it do? from other users feedback, i dont think leedroid should have any lag.I don't really like trackball wake actually. Didn't use that and sometimes wake screen accidentally when I do not want it. I flashed a few times, because it's my first custom ROM and I thought I didn't partition correctly. Experienced it again in the HD Rom, so I think it might be an inherited problem of Sense-based ROM or just the script not powerful enough. Oxygen is nice, and its A2SD also smooth, like it. but maybe it just dont happen to them. on cm u can customize power widget (oxygen limited it to only 6), its order, can change backlight (very useful if use auto brightness), has cpu setting (dont need setcpu anymore) customize lockscreen n 2 or 3 other things i forgot. i'm not advance user, so other advance user may have more.. |

QUOTE(infernoaswen @ Mar 5 2011, 10:13 PM) oh what do u mean by "ext partitions". root will not void waranty. can unroot back if there is any prob. btw if custom rom then my warranty will be void right? i think he means OTA 2.3. for custom sense rom 2.3 it might not be that long (hopefully) |

QUOTE(phantomash @ Mar 5 2011, 10:56 PM) I'm using a Sun Global 1850mAh battery, just got it 2 days ago, u bought it how much?it really improves the heat issue, even when it gets warm, its not as warm as the stock one and the battery life is definitely longer, but not really that significant, if you game non stop, it will still drain within few hours, maybe 1 to 2 hours longer than the stock one but then, since the battery is still new, it could be better after using for a longer period after calibrating |

1ghz is more than enough for ordinary use. some of the users even underclock their phone. for me, it would be a waste of phone ability.
