Brick never really happens unless you disrupt a process (like flashing/rooting/s-offing/hboot). Doing a process in a wrong steps will usually cause a bootloop or htc screen freeze. (At least can remove batt and go back bootloader and undo the damage-sometimes =p)

At least, in my experience.

I noticed the guides on xda can be slightly outdated a bit-ish so feel free to ask if what they said isn't what you saw on your phone.

Yeah if you aren't rooted, it's definitely your App2SD app.

What recovery image? o_o Just do unrevoked+amon ra or unrevoked+cwm 2.5.1.8

Yeah because when you change SD to data storage, your phone can't access apps and widgets so then it will be 'broken' then you need to restart to be able to see them again.

Nah, this phone was blindly designed where it's not really aiming for >30 apps or so.

If you really wanted a phone for such i9000 would've been a more ideal sol.
You can do App2SD shift via Manage Applications but it will still not be enough eventually.

Unless you are a faithful user then better get yourself an ipod tough like me tongue.gif =]

or you could wait for SGS 2 to come out then go swap for SGS (has 1Gb internal nand iirc)

Yeah Wifi very bad. sleep.gif that's why I gave up Ginsengbread for now.

Gone back sense, at least can get extra 50-100m range for signal.

No WiFi, I can live without the CRT-ness and other cool animations.

ALL the ROMS I were using, never hit more than 36.

The only one that kept making my phone hot was MIUI. Play game then straight 39+...
Couldn't fix it, gave up and /bye... A lot of 100% CPU's on MIUI as well...couldn't fix that too.. Android System Running >50% most of the time LMFAO? Screen-Off showing >30%...

Best ROM to me is CM7 if the signals weren't that bad that is.

Have yet to try DHD but making sd partitions = bo song.

I would say don't bother but you try lar. Diff device diff readings I guess.

Tried from 32.44-32.54 all still shit. extra -10/-15db max. sleep.gif

But..could've fixed. Last build was #38 for me then /dropout

RIL...read about it, not really interested since Sense ROM working well with 32.44.

Someone recommended WiFi Analyzer to me. It's a decent app.

Though they are almost the same to me, tbh. Only slight visual difference. I don't use those launcher pro and what not so my hs is very simple..<5 widgets and rest are app shortcuts.
