So, still no update? Mine pre-order N8 also don't have any update except for ovi maps, dab and mobilbox. I wonder what are the use of the later 2 update, dab and mobilbox. Any ideas? I can't even open mobilbox.

From PR1.0 to PR1.1 already need to wait 4 months? That's 1/3 of a year. Only a minor update already take this long. I wonder when will they release PR2.0 with new UI, may be next year also not finish....and finally scrap into dustbin. sad.gif

FOR THE RECORD

Android have an EVEN WORSE updating method. and WP7 seems pretty **bleep** too. I think iOS is the only one that actually updates effectively (maybe because they only have one handset)]

It is true?

reply from the so call nokia software team:

•When is the PR2.0 release coming? Even if I would love to give you a clear date, I'm not allowed to. We're in the middle of preparing it as well as all the comms & Marketing around it.

They are in a mess now. Losing share, uncertainty of future plan, customer demanding new update, releasing of E7 with dying OS and the list still going on. Totally work of a trojan.

You already have PR1.1? I guess if you already update to PR1.1, you need to uninstall beta bubblelock so the full version can work. The full version or non-beta of bubblelock is bundle within the PR1.1.

The rest of us still don't have PR1.1, so we can't give any feedback.

If got PR1.1, can I do hard reset or format and safely recover everything? I means all the default app like nokia store and maps. My egg already full of rubbish now because lots of test app.

I got a mail today lol.

I was wondering if I could use some of your pictures showing off what is possible with a Nokia N8 in a public setting? On 6-March, we are sponsoring Nokia Day at the Cinequest Film Festival, where we'll be talking about the N8's camera and video .

You've got some terrific photos- if you allow, I'd like to use more than one.

Thanks
