Just updated my N8 to PR1.1 using Phoenix.

Can't wait for the official release of my unlisted product code 059D1G4.

Almost brick my phone also but luckily several trials then able to update it. BTW, the product code won't be changed even though flashed with Phoenix. Therefore, should be safe to do so & it won't void your warranty (I guess).

However, you need to backup your phone first before do so because it will formatted you phone data. Then you can restore it using restore function in Ovi Suite.

Flashed with 179mb+ files. Take the 11.12 UDA from navifirm & rename it to 13.16. Before you copy into the folder make sure you run until the missing 2 files (UDA & memory card (1.6GB)) prompt in the phoenix. Then copy the 11.12 UDA into the folder & rename to 13.16. Run refurbish... The whole file should be around 240mb during flashing.

I did it wrongly at first time without the UDA file then the phone like running CACAT.

I didn't. I think the 1.6GB contain the games & apps preloaded with N8. Tot I can do it using the app update in Ovi Suite also.

I bet u r the LUCKY one. BTW, the navifirm didn't listed the product code 059D1G4. Therefore, I don't think we can update using Ovi Suite. Unless, the checking is something wrong. So far, only number code N8 in Malaysia got these updates.

I doubt we will get the PR1.1 update for alphanumeric code like mine before PR 2.0.
