Eeeyer. Still no update for PR1.1

Cis. Dunno if can get firmware update before cny ends.

Under the Device Updates screen, it shows:

Latest update:
Not updated.

No issues, right?

Still waiting for the blardy firmware update.

All of you guys managed to update to 1.1 already?

Hmm. New UI around third quarter this year eh. So if you add in Nokia time, that's maybe around March or April next year

I got my mobo changed. And I still haven't got my firmware update. This sucks.

The current method of implementing firmware update isn't very good customer experience, if you ask me.

For those who managed to get the update, do they have smart dialer???

Sigh. I guess we won't get much more new apps and games in Symbian already?

I wonder can I ask for a refund for buying my N8. Noticed that there is a function detailed in the user guide but not in our N8. (smart dialer)

Plus I'm still experiencing periodical auto-reboots even after sending it to NCC 3 times and a mobo change. And also NCC forgot to update my warranty card.

I see my colleague so syiok. iPhone 3GS got problem and straightaway get a 1 to 1 exchange.

And what kind of crap PR1.1 rollout is this? Like that New UI or PR2.0 also dunno when will happen.

Nokia have a firmware update team? Who would have thought...

Help! My N8 stuck in the white charging screen with the Nokia text.

How ah? Screen also doesn't dim. If I stick the charging pin into the phone, the charging light will light up for about 2 seconds.

Whoa. Thanks! Have to hold down for about 30 secs before it'll shutdown. Now I'm able to restart.

What is the problem eh? Anything I should worry about? I'd hate to send this phone to NCC for the fourth time

Added on February 24, 2011, 12:21 amWhen trying to check for firmware via *#0000#, I get the message "Operation Canceled by Server", after the "Receiving data from Nokia" part.
