Symbian won't die. But don't many expect high-end smartphones from Nokia to be using it in the future. They'll still probably keep it for their low to midrange phones.

QUOTE(cloud8318 @ Feb 14 2011, 04:15 PM) thats a MUST for window user, just wonder if low demand, hacker still interesting to hack window mobile? I don't use any anti-virus software on my Windows 7. In fact I didn't even use one on my previous Vista machine. Windows viruses spread in 3 ways: 1) Internet Explorer 2) USB 3) P2P Sharing Software Just install Chrome/Firefox, disable AutoRun (Windows 7 disables this by default) and please don't randomly download p0rn using Kazaa or whatever. Guarantee you won't get 99% of the viruses out there anymore. Also you're confusing the architecture between WP7 and desktop Windows. The reason why viruses spread so easily on desktop Windows because it's flexible and easier to install programs. WP7 is more restricted like iOS and doesn't even support multi-tasking. Viruses will have a harder time spreading on WP7. |
