due to my constraints budget, certain requirements, did few audition and advise from AV uncles...

i have shortlisted this 2 models which fitted to me...
Pioneer VXS-820k
Onkyo TX-NR509

i planned for 50-50 for movie (media player) & music (MP3/DVD/CD)

pioneer have richer features, more detail and treble emphasis, better decoding standard (with Dolby Pro Logic IIz) may suit for movie... onkyo have better music quality which smoother for music, lesser decoding standard (without Dolby Pro Logic IIz)...

but of cos 509 may cost more than 820 as 509 will launch when Q2 of 2011...
worth to pay extra bucks and wait 509? or rather stick to 820 which richer features & cheaper?
