although barca lose today they still favourite to move. it just 2-1 and barca got the vital away goal. unlike spurs who won at san siro.

QUOTE(mhyug @ Feb 17 2011, 10:11 AM) does the tag "favourite" still mean anything these days??.one of many overhyped overrated words and terms given in footy imo. the term 'favourite' will always mean something.. whether in football or any kind of sport. its a fair expectation of things to comescredit to gunners for winning the game and lets see what both teams do in the 2nd leg. if favoritism aint a thing anymore they wont be betting odds and shocking result. of coz nothing is for sure thats why we call it 'favourite' its a result with better odd counting all the possibilites big team favourite ahead of smaller team, home team favourite against visiting team, recent past meeting result, current form.. |

QUOTE(leongtat @ Feb 24 2011, 11:09 AM) Our away form continue to be poor despite a good result for us.... oh carrick.. last time also very dissapoint with him against crawley. was hoping him to step up being the senior.fletcher stray passing carrick panic passing nani indecisive Gibson shy from camera rooney day dreaming.. The credits has to goes to our defender that kept it tight all the time. know he can do so much better. what really happen to him. been a while losing his form. |

i think at the end it only matter of time before a takeover does happen.
being the smart businessman they are. glazer would definately sell when the price is right. its pretty clear why they came in the first place.. an investment the report also said the qatari also consider joint takeover with red knight. good thing? |

we usually play with 2 striker and depend on our winger going forward doing most of the attack with fullback also goes forward to support.
so ando current CM style should stay. it might not bringing out the best from him but it fit the team style and approach. what he need is more matches as he hv shown improvement and more comfortable playing tht role Added on February 25, 2011, 6:00 pm QUOTE(Wan @ Feb 25 2011, 05:24 PM) Getting Anderson back fit 100% would be key to that, although even he can't help to up the performances of Carrick and Fletcher. But at least with Carrick he's doing things at a good level for his role. Fletcher have been really bad this season. Misplacing passes all over the place almost all the time! Consider how big his role was in the difficult game over the years you'd know why we are struggling away from home. For the creative things, we need Ando(aside from Scholes) and two proper wingers(Park/Valencia/Giggs on the other side of Nani). Too bad Ando is out injured right now. Hopefully he'll come back in far more healthy state that he has been in the last month or so where he struggled to run at full speed and taking it easy most times. ando present definately bring more creativity comparing to fletcher and carrick. For now, we just need to weather it and hope for the best, along with praying that Scholes is healthy most times. Park/Valencia returning should help ease that burden a little. for me fletcher hv always been more of defensive CM type. box to box type.. not quite agree him misplacing pass all the time. got no complain of him. still working very hard for team. he hv misplace pass but he also win many. still among the engine going up and down carrick the one who hv been dissapointing from last season. he might not be bad but u know he can do much better. few season back he look most creative player on the side behind scholes with better pass and reading of the game This post has been edited by onepack: Feb 25 2011, 06:00 PM |

QUOTE(ayanami_tard @ Feb 26 2011, 05:11 AM) creativity come from the word create.. so ni football it mean ability to create, mastermind, organise an attack. with good sense, ability to read the game and noticing ur teamates for a pass. when to hold or pass the ball Added on February 26, 2011, 11:22 am QUOTE(Sifha238 @ Feb 26 2011, 09:13 AM) Either one of Wesley Sneijder or Bastian Schweinsteiger would make a lot of different in Man Utd team good thing bout VDV he can play every attacking midfield role and even before join spur he hv shown he adapt very well everywhere he goes.If Van Der Vart can perform this well at Spurs, I can imagine how well excellent those 2 would be harry definately lucky to get him at his value.. dont think it will be the same with either both no value for money... but whats up wt transfer stories. it aint transfer season yet. we still leading the table and fighting for treble This post has been edited by onepack: Feb 26 2011, 11:22 AM |

QUOTE(dundermifflin @ Feb 28 2011, 11:37 AM) huh, nobody mention the linesmen is an 'Arsenal Supporter'? clear onside, led to stonewall penalty claim, might be a red card offense.. no lah.. he's on united side. everyone of them.even with that 'little help', they failed to win it.. talk about ref bias are total BS.. that Twitter Ars GK (whatever his name) also mentioned this on the other day.. and also sweetened things, after he commented on A.Cole on the other day.. he made blunder himself. serve him right.. it still early that it wont be fun and hurting. we know at the end they will self destruct. then it will totally crush em.. destroying all the faith!! hahaha congrat to birmingham. even tho lucky wt the goal but they deserve it |

QUOTE(zacknistelrooy @ Mar 2 2011, 12:29 PM) This has been the story away from home nani are no ronaldo, carrick/fletcher also no keane but they certainly not average. they are good player. We can score first but after that, the performance just drops down. MU needs a good midfielder so that when leading, it will ensure the play is broken up. Keane used to do it, but we never replaced him. Simple fact, the manager can be how good, but at least there should be a good even team, strong from attack right till the goalkeeper. MU used to have a very strong midfield but know they are just average. on form our current midfield hv everthing it takes to make the difference. even team? for me if u compare united to other epl side we are the most balance unit. its our main strength. best quality side will go to ski and man city. we always rely on winger for attack. at the moment thats what we really missed. valencia, park.. giggs also seem not 100% yet |

QUOTE(boxsystem @ Mar 3 2011, 07:54 AM) Sir Alex Ferguson faces ban over comments made about referee | Football | The Guardian totally agree with SAF comment regarding atkinson should never be assigned to officiate the game in the first place. with the record he hold it just doesnt seem right.A possible 2-3 match touchline ban for SAF. We didn't pay enough lagi ke? seem like we not oni ones paying the FA.. or perhaps we save some for an anfield visit we are on huge debt afterall so need to spend wisely. ski game.. no value!! |

QUOTE(milky @ Mar 3 2011, 12:14 PM) but he can watch the game via TV & phone to phelan right? just curious on How serious is it for Touchline ban that affect the game still can watch from the stadium.. no problem giving order from phone, texting. hairdryer by phone pun bole jenot quite serious actually. Added on March 3, 2011, 1:01 pm QUOTE(nanamiwashio @ Mar 3 2011, 12:52 PM) touchline ban= cant discuss with ur assistan abt tactics, what to improve..cant draw players' position on paper/tacticboard things like that not quite an example.. still got asisstant manager, coaching staff to do the job.football is about teamwork & tactical..having the best 11 players on the pitch doesnt necessarily means u will win the game. and tactics always tukar2 during the game depends on situation.. telephone or earpiece communication is never a good way of giving instructions. it's like u're taking university courses online (watch video streaming etc etc) vs going to class, inside the class with real lecturer infront of u This post has been edited by onepack: Mar 3 2011, 01:01 PM |
