talking about Anderson, which position do u guys think that would suited best for him? or should i say, bring out the best of Anderson? currently we often saw he occupied the CM birth with attacking mindset. he certainly also have the defensive capability in him too. would he fit to play behind the striker just like what Meireles and Van der vaart are doing at the moment?
He doesn't have the class, composure and guilge to play in that in-the-hole role IMO. Although he was more attacking before he came to us but that was before he got that serious knee(?) injury. He's better suited to the CM role. Someone should play ahead of him and his partner(whoever that is) if we go with a 4231.

we usually play with 2 striker and depend on our winger going forward doing most of the attack with fullback also goes forward to support.
so ando current CM style should stay. it might not bringing out the best from him but it fit the team style and approach. what he need is more matches as he hv shown improvement and more comfortable playing tht role
Added on February 25, 2011, 6:00 pmando present definately bring more creativity comparing to fletcher and carrick.
for me fletcher hv always been more of defensive CM type. box to box type.. not quite agree him misplacing pass all the time.
got no complain of him. still working very hard for team. he hv misplace pass but he also win many. still among the engine going up and down
carrick the one who hv been dissapointing from last season. he might not be bad but u know he can do much better. few season back he look most creative player on the side behind scholes with better pass and reading of the game
Fletcher have been a lot worse this season. But Carrick really should be able to show that he's the man instead of looking like he's trying to hide himself on the field. We'll spend this summer in that area to replace Hargreaves(not necessarily same kind of player). And if Carrick is still hiding in that shell of his come next season, he won't be a regular anymore.
Added on February 25, 2011, 7:17 pm"Not much has changed on the injury front. We're trying to get Ryan [Giggs] fit for the Wigan game. Michael Owen is back training and could be available for tomorow. Rio Ferdinand and Jonny Evans should both be back for Liverpool next weekend.
"Ji-sung Park is still two weeks away. Anderson will probably be back in three weeks, he's back in Portugal now and we'll have to see how he progresses.
"[Antonio] Valencia is doing well in training but it's difficult to assess when he'll be back. We have to make a decision as to how he feels given he's been out for so long. He could be back in two weeks hopefully.
"Wigan are a team who play fantastic football. It's obviously a concern that they've relaid the pitch, although I understand it's okay. It'll be a difficult game but at this time of the season they're all difficult. It's important that we keep our momentum going because the team who is most consistent will win the league."
