My fat PS3 still going on strong (touch wood), even after heavy usage for 3 years.

Quite biased to say that buying a PS3 = YLOD time bomb. I'm sure the percentage of YLOD occurrence is less than perfectly OK PS3s. Spreading FUD doesn't help much, I think...
