great. now my ps3 is broken too. play my ps3 (phat, 80GB Malaysian Set) for 1 hour only and only 3-4 times a week but still affected by YLOD. i have try to call sony but their customer service is really sucks..i dont like the way they treat their customer.

i'm not sure bro. i have sent my ps3 to bernard (gamers solution pertama complex) to repair it.right now i just hope that he is able to repair it so i can play my ps3 for another 1 month before i buy a new slim set.

i put my console horizontally and give quiet amount of space for my ps3 to breath. i didnt put a fan to it since i only play 1 hour a day ( i do play uncharted for 2-3 hours max but it was a very long time ago).

my ps3 lifespan? 1 year and 6 month. my xenon XBOX 360 has longer lifespan than this shiny paper weigth.

agree bro..luck do play a role (maybe a little bit). i'm planning to buy a slim set next month and it will be my third ps3. 1 60gb PAL ps3 (still usable and give it to my brother), 80 GB Malaysian Set (faktap already) and planning to get a slim one next month (not enough fund at the moment).
