Just recently my PS3 slim shows ylod symptom. Usually happen when i want to turn the ps3 ON, after few more tries it can run as normal. So far it hasn't automatically shut down while playing games. I'm not sure due to overheat or power supply problem.

Mine is MY set, FFXIII vers some more but warranty expired already.

Should i take it to Sony Service Centre, or try to replace the psu by myself? Service center are far from my home (i live in langkawi).
