Does anyone know what is body shift hi lo soft hard adjustable? I know the soft hard is tuning the absorbers sooft hard and the hi lo is the controling the height. but what is the body shift?
*
body shift is controlling the whole coilover height. Mean when adjusting the hi-lo, it won't affect the spring rate if with body shift. Another thing is, it can use for wira, satria, persona, gen 2, waja because the whole absorber heigh can be adjust. So when wanna sell it, more wide buyer can get.

Time to change my absorber. I still got the standard set (absorber together with spring) that comes with my car. Anyone knows how much workshop usually charge for taking out the absorber from the spring (my standard set) and replace it with my current one?

Never seen a black waja fitted with this tail lamp. Wonder will out looks nice.
*
I see before. Nice if at night with light turn on. If light turn on + brake light, it feel like kelam kabut. The light look messed up to me. Hehe. Cause brake light too bright.

Added on March 16, 2011, 12:29 amSince I have NBTD, I had calculated the rev/speed based on waja gear ratio.

Tyre profile=205/50/16
RPM redline = 7200rpm
here the result.

1st Gear = 54 km/h (tested by myself)
2nd Gear = 99.37 km/h (tested by myself)
3rd Gear = 140.3 km/h (tested by myself)
4th Gear = 192.89 km/h (Haven't test. Abit hard to push 4th gear to 7200rpm)
5th Gear = 252.24 km/h (Impossible can achieve 7200rpm at 5th gear sweat.gif )

This should be our waja cps gear ratio speed on 7200rpm.

btw singchaii, how do u solve the window bracket issue?
*
Bayar teh tarik baru I ajar. =P

Remove your windows, then you see the power windows bracket is just stuck the rubber together on the window right? After put in, apply sealant on it. Wait it dry then only install it back. Don't do it if you don't have confident. Cause when wanna insert the bracket + rubber into the windows is damn hard and risky. Can smash your window.

Some people advise me against LCP. Suggesting it will sacrifice higher end power. Since you're a real user of LCP. What's your own opinion?
I'm going to install AFR around June. Any advise?
*
Don't get those too light weight lcp. Get those normal lcp will do. Too light will cause high end power drop.

Gonna stop modding my waja soon.. Wanna get back my 4g93 for modding. Luckily my adjustable is bodyshift. Can shift to putra. rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

mytheology LCP too light eh? Well just stick with standard maybe better la. If own experiment but result not good, money gone just like that. I think R3 has cam pulley but not sure about crank pulley.

mytheology lcp is not that light. Still acceptable as user claimed.

Just asking yeah, an adjustable suspension. During high speed around 150 will the car float? Damn i think my tuning abit problem. Playing with a wira yesterday and felt my car was floating.. didnt dare to move forward anymore
*
What kind of float you mean?? floating mean you hardly can't control your steering as the wheel not gripping on the floor. Bouncy or floating?

I am using HLSF. so the rear i adjust to the hardest. Haha.. those sit behind one i think they feel like shiting already. But the front is i am also not sure. When high speed it bump. And the weird thing is my car pull to left side even alignment done. My friend tried to help me to adjust and improve abit only. still when i accelerate it pull to left. when release pedal then straight. cornering improve definitely but some people say adjustable should be more stable. hmmmm... front 5k rear 4k spring. Quite comfort also when set to softest.
*
May i knOw what car you driving? If u said pull to left, there some possibility. Maybe uneven height adjustable or the absorber mounting bearing jam. I'm using 6k front, 4k back. I don't face those problem..

QUOTE(mrl @ Mar 22 2011, 10:10 AM)
in my experience, the shittiest thing will happen when the front is softer than back... the weight shifting will cause you to have the hell of a ride... so my advice is to drop the rate a few steps... it should be softer at the back...
warranty does a subjective issue... but you consider this rule of thumb as the guidelines... your mod to the lights will not in anyway disturb your gearbox performance... means, only related parts of the modded part is void... you change to aftermarket airfilter but you can't claim your power windows problem is ridiculous and it won't happen...
*
My sentra is using 5k front, 5k back. Genting syoik wei.. thumbup.gif

hehe... still the front not softer than back right...

however, it also depends on driving style too... oversteer and understeer preference...
have you seen someone accidentally fill diesel into their gasoline tank??? tongue.gif  tongue.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

yeah.. it depend on driving style, the car suspension setup and tyre profile.. icon_idea.gif

Myvi really can pecut cause due to the chasis too light. Inside metal the door can dent with my finger press during I change the rear windows. sweat.gif I drove a myvi with 140kmh and really feel it float madly. Terrible. Those car only got aunt go market or go school take son nia. sweat.gif
