Hello.. Is anyone explain to me how to use qtirecco... I want to control astro decoder.. But i dont know how.. smile.gif
*
Qtirecco doesn't work for me after my firmware is on 1.3. I'm not sure what's the problem but it just won't work. My best alternative to control television is TV-B-Gone. But that's only to off or on television. doh.gif And even when QtIrecco was working, I don't think there's any script for Astro. smile.gif

try to download the remote MM9780S for the nokia decoder. I'm using it right now. and it's fine. I'm not so sure about the other decoders i.e. phillips or samsung though
*
For me, QtIrecco doesn't work at all. Anyone can explain why? But TV-B-Gone which sends IR codes as well is working. Meaning is not hardware problem? hmm.gif
Headache since I enjoy turning televisions at public places off. tongue.gif
I turned off a few TV at Monorail station today. At Imbi Station. laugh.gif

It's DIY and N900 already super fat. Adding that battery will be insanely bulky can't even fit in pocket anymore. doh.gif

Last time when I modified my vfs cache my phone keep on crashing.Perhaps something to do with my OC profile.
I can get 4 days of usage without using karam's script.

I do want to test karam's script & possibly modify them to suit my need but I need extra phone (which I don't have) in case my phone crashed while testing.
*Looking for competition that gives out phone as prize* laugh.gif
*
I don't use on offline mode can never be full bar when I check by night at 800mhz. :/

Rumored new Samsung slider phone for AT&T.
If this is the SGS II variant for AT&T then I'll go for it (with heavy heart of course)

Oh my, after my dad bought SGS II, this comes out? doh.gif

Haha, I think it's nothing for N900 owners  tongue.gif
As long they can hack it and provide a decent firmware.
Many Android devices have short lifetime support, no future update after certain version, unless probably you get  the Google Nexus?
*
Samsung is the next best choice if you want updates. Look at Galaxy S.

ok.. anyone now using N900 in Nitdroid based OS?
I think I will install the Nitdroid...
Can I know if it is stable or not?
Wilt it affect calls and sms features?

*I do not have a micro SD, so i will do partition for my n900.
correct me if im wrong..
i will follow the fdisk to do partition on the n900 as shown in the frontpage..
then i will proceed to install the Nitdroid(partition method)..

Keyboard is useful for those who text heavily, hack & browsing.
You may have 4.3" screen but at least 1/3 will be taken by vkb if you want to type something. This is very disturbing especially when you post in forum.iPhone really suck at this department.

I think he's reliable seller.

This is one of my highly trusted seller. His price is higher but his service & phone usually are great.
*
The first guy really got shop. Outside Digital Mall. doh.gif
And when I went to his place, he told me 2099. I asked him not 1980 (price listed at that time), he told me, are you sure? Got meh? When did you see? Impossible. Then at last after I said I just saw this morning. He said 1980 didn't include anything like screen protector casing all that. :/

Other shops better. Buy from SME 2099 got 2 years warranty best. smile.gif

It's not working properly yet.
eyes got himself SGS II.So the development might slow down. But Android 2.3.5 will come for N900.
Installing MeeGo in eMMC is real pain in @$$.Stick with MMC installation for now. It's quite smooth depending on the card you use.
I'm using Kingmax Class 16 8GB microSD.
*
Well, who doesn't want to go for SGS II? laugh.gif

Oh, the latest version of Nitdroid seems to have improve a lot. It's so much smoother. I can feel the difference significantly. Last time it was choppy in menu for my card but now. Wow, really like native Android device ady. rclxms.gif

I don't think I'll get N9.
I've had enough "fun" being Nokia's guinea pig.
Highly likely I'll join Android camp reluctantly.

Come and join! biggrin.gif
hahaha, my family changed 3 Nokias away for 3 Androids this month. Oops, Nokia. laugh.gif
