Looks very interesting, new player in the field.
Kinda hope that this is from Nokia but this doesnt look like something Nokia would do?

if you leave, confirm this site DIE

I agree with this statement very much.

xiia0ha0,
Maybe you should check out the Mugen battery? almost double the capacity of original battery but makes N900 slighly more bulkier,
I think that will make more of a difference in battery life if compared to Scud battery.

Does it? I didnt know about this issue.
Regarding the size.. not too sure, better check out pictures and videos and compare. Haha..
I said slightly bulky maybe because I am used to using my N900 with otterbox casing which made it quite bulky already. tongue.gif

Josh_M - Nice pictures smile.gif but a bit dark.

Master SEA - I also noticed the same thing in Android phone threads, they talk the most about custom roms.. Got the feeling that getting an android phone although very fast & useful, but is kinda dull..

Arent external battery pack.. inconvenient? I thought SGS2's battery life will be quite ok, at least according to Engadget's review. Seems like I got the idea wrong.

Haha.. at least you busted this myth of Android's battery life is way better than N900 for me.

But some android's battery life seems to be very good, like My friend's Nexus S can last for roughly 2 or 1.5 days of average use, and almost 4 days of standy.

Glad to know you're enjoying your SGS2 smile.gif

I think Android's the one causing bad battery consumption instead of hardware. Like when Android phones with Froyo was updated to Gingerbread, they say increased performance and battery life, or at least for Google's original Nexus.

Just curious.

I aint gonna sell off my N900 either, gonna use it until it's broken beyond repair.
really hope the N900 is engineered to last a long long time.. smile.gif

btw, just for sharing with you guys,
I noticed N8 is getting lotsa attention of being the best camera phone around and stuff,
and that Nokia promotes it with the Nokia shorts and all,
I though that if N8 can do it, why cant N900 be used to produce a short film as well?

I've decided I wanna make a short film of my trip to Cameron with my friends,
entirely filmed with the N900! Too bad the N900 dont have video-editing application,
gonna have to do the editing on the PC. Wish me luck! smile.gif

Yeah, but was hoping I can do everything with the N900 (video record, cut & paste video, merge with music) without using other equipment.

BTW, the CSSU is god-sent, it provides us with a critical feature : ability to refocus in the middle of a video record! You guys use this feature before?

Sounds really funny right?
But I read about this at Gizmodo before,
As it's winter over there and they need to wear gloves but gloves dont work on touchscreens, so.. apparently they discovered sausages make good, cheap stylus..

Dark_Angel85 : Thanks for the tip, got it working now.. and... it's really kinda weird.

BTW, I updated the CSSU Feature configurator using FAPman, after updating it I cant access it, it says something like.. Settings now available and is quitting.

Anyone know what's wrong with it?

Edit : Fixed, found the solution in the Maemo Forum, seems like there was a line missing in the transition.ini file.
