here's a new question, we let pc to control phone via winscp and putty, what about the other way around? any software to let us tap in pc to retrieve the data, or may be higher level by remote back in server?

p.s. ssh drain battery fast, have to install a switcher to turn it off, not sure the effectiveness

possible the USB port on phone is loosed which is common on certain batch of N900

So damn hot this few days, just now my phone browsing until too hot and hang have to force restart the phone

N900 has been stop production since last year November, depends on your usage for the phone, if you like to explore phone program, installing gadget, playing all kinds of game for most platform, C6 can't give you that.

If you like free mind and normal daily phone usage, I prefer you get C7

It is wiser to get a dataplan for using N900, besides the data rate used when navigating is very tiny, as long as you have download the map data.

One point to remind though....when using GPS, the power draining is terrible, 15 minutes can drain you 10% power already

sorry to hear that life indeed is very hard for us now

why goes all the trouble to make N900 run android for an apps?
isn't that better to get an android phone straight away...

Sociality has the check in function on FB

browserd is your build in browser

you use force terminate it via XT

root -- killall browserd

depends what site it is accessing, might not eat any cpu cycle or might running full...something fishy going on in your phone, I also left my phone wifi enable but not connected to anywhere (I off my router at night), it never connect itself before
