QUOTE(bagata @ Jun 16 2011, 12:36 AM) tried that and not working also sigh... bro im using windows xp since my windows 7 is 64bits, and the flasher only works on 32bits right? Turn off your device (make sure it's properly off). Hold the letter "U" on the keypad. Plug-in the USB cable. What's the respond from your device? Did it turned on? Make sure your battery is fully charge or at least > 70%? If below certain %, it will not enter/allow "update" mode. This post has been edited by Andy214: Jun 16 2011, 03:14 AM

A big thank you to super_evil_alien, Patent, mashimarow and Andy214 for helping me to get back my phone to life.
Yes, the problem lies with the insufficient of battery power to go into "update" mode so gotta take note on that next time when doing reflash.
And flashing only the kernel does save back all my data inside the phone.
Thanks guys!

Guys, Just updated the N900 with the CSSU. Things look quite nice in Portrait mode. but for now dont dare try to force-rotate all apps.. May I ask what will happen if i force-rotate all apps? I mean even those unusable in portrait mode? will they crash? or will they just.. rotate and become unusable in real-life?

As far as I can see, Default Camera app has been rewritten, Task switcher can be modified application menu can be rotated Apps can force rotate (although I havent try yet) These are the ones I am aware of for now. Note : I also installed CSSU Features configuration app, so no need to go to edit the system file manually. I hope this answers your question, Bushido.

Haha thanks man. Appreciate it. As for force rotate, why not download an app that you don't use, and try force rotating it?

NITDroid definitely worth playing around for average users.MeeGo not yet.
Milestone 3...Looks nice... Especially when rumored HTC Doubleshot aka MyTouch 4G looks ugly.

Meego is very active this month, at least 4 updates released already, if I got the extra memory card, I might try my hand on it already. Quite the contrary, Nitroid suddenly seems quiet down after the last release which cast some doubt whether the creator stop the project
