just now i went to alam central in s.alam... was thinking to grab a new fon or tablet... but end up didnt buy anything coz no superbly superior device compare to n900...

galaxy tab / ipad - cool device, but 7 inch is a hassle
galaxy s - nice display, but n900 can have android
blackberry/ iphone - cool iconic fon aka trendy and hip... but most of the good apps are expensive, n900 98% good apps are free.

really? so the price over than N8?
i see N8 selling around 1200-1300 for original set..

then what you do about it? this is headache. sigh.

N900 can have android?

1680 is a bit too high, original Nokia outlet only sold 1535, besides this phone already obsoleted, cut his price down

well i think it really depends la. if u go to nokia shop, like the one at my place, they still stick to the original price, which is around rm19++. but if u scout around, if u r in luck u can get around rm1.1k ori set. so best bet is to scout around first.

and try not to go offline, i dunno y going offline makes the browserd ate up the cpu, some bugs i guess.

might be something you installed which constantly get update from the net, refresh your memory what you have installed before the problem start

no i didnt installed anything. it if freshly formatted, and re-formatted, and re-formatted.

Guys.. Help please..

I was trying to figure out Nitdroid & multiboot issue and decided to uninstall Nitdroid to get back my Kernel-Power,
I uninstalled it, but when my N900 boots, it goes back to stock Maemo only.
I reinstalled kernel-power, kernel-power-flasher, kernel-power-modules, kernel-power-bootimg.
the next thing I get when i reboot is multiboot menu with NO options..

then it fades away and shows this :

can't flash kernel, required files not found
guru meditation #00000025.62017712
HIT ANY KEY TO PANIC

and reboots non-stop. I know there's a solution on the frontpage, but to be honest, I have no idea what is it talking about or how to apply that method...
I searched around the forum, tried the press U and plug USB cable into PC method, but got nothing?

Now when I boot my N900, it shows a Multiboot menu with no options, and after a few secs, auto shutdown...

Guessed I messed up big this time huh?
worst case scenario... is my N900 bricked forever or something?... O_O

i turn on 3G,wifi whole day and still manage to get it run for 24 hours, so it is not much of a problem if you can charge it everyday

installed conky? call it out and see what program constantly running high with CPU usage, or you can use htop to check it also with less attractive visual, or back to basic use 'top' at XT to check

I once forget to turn off dosbox for 2 hours and let it run background, drain half of my battery in that short 2 hours
