well. i managed to dig out my ancient camera, an old nikon 3200 3.2 MegaPixel (ya, u heard it right unexpectedly, still working, always thought that it broken. bought the battery and a small tripod. i guess future picture will turn out better than current 5MP camera phone. stay tune, and be surprise. |

2nd update of the day.
work done today. ![]() i broke my saw. replacement rm2 saw just to finish the last cut. ![]() the saw broke when saw this ![]() ![]() at 1st i thought is aluminiium. but magnet stuck to it. the cut took 3 times longer compare to aluminiium. yay~ new update.
tap the bracket using screw ( cant find tapper in this country ![]() also the spacer is placed. ![]() ![]() original mac hdd cage ![]() ![]() problem :wallbash: ![]() ![]() the hdd cage will hit the motherboard. well i guess i had to find the solution. some other things ![]() ![]() this lian li bracket will be placed infront as intake thanks for watching and see you soon. |

been facing quite a few small problem.
1st is the hdd cage. (not enough space for it and the g5 air baffle /deflector in place) ![]() 2nd is the front IO cable. (not long enough for it to reach, i managed to burn a speaker by plugging in the wrong pin ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

before giving up or taking some rest form modding.
i managed to do some test fitting with some hardware. hardware use will be going in the g5 case. processor - intel i5 750 motherboard - asus p7p55d-e-pro ram - corsair xms3 2x2 gb graphic - gigabyte gtx 260+ psu - gigabyte odin gt 550w (not seen yet) hdd - WD 808gb (not seen yet) ![]() ![]() ![]() u can see about the wire will have no space to route once the psu placed. ![]() ![]() the g5 and my current lian li g7b ![]() hardware gutted out that is all. more work is being done. seen u soon. |

just been facing with lot of difficulty and stupid error. as u can see. i have started the back io port mod ![]() make a bracket for the io port to be fitted to the case. ![]() as u can see. it didnt fit :wallbash: ![]() looks like i made the wrong way :wallbash: ![]() ![]() will try to fit it before finishing other part. before than. replacement for the apple hdd tray this ![]() or this ![]() thanks for taking a look. |

after 2 weeks of trying, 2 times failure.
i finally managed to secure the back io port. ![]() ![]() some wired things on the LAN port. ![]() ![]() i found out it is the magnetic coil inside the port. this made a great setback to the plan i had. we will see how it goes in the end. the soldering on the io port. ![]() i think i will finish this up very soon. the rest is to install my hardware inside and call it a day. update will come soon. after 2 trials with installing. finally get all the hardware to fit in. front connector giving a headache. manage to solve it. now is only the usb port. 2 out of 3 is not working. wired thing is one of the non working one is from the same port with the working one. wired |
