what cpu cooler you are using?
what is the vcore after overclock?
idle at 48c is abit high.

playing game 64? With stress testing I think you will go to the 70s region

vcore voltage is 1.4++...i'm using coolermaster vortex..

maybe the cooler not powerful enough.
or the heatsink didn't properly touch the cpu?

don't own this cpu.
and cpu temperature depends on ambient temperature also.
but idle below 40'c should be nice.

mine idling at 40 degree.. maxed at 55-60 degree..

Cooler Master Vortex is not a good cooler in fact.
Same priced TX3 is much better.

whick cooler is good ar??

TX3 is much better yet cheap.
It allows quite much of overclocking already.
If you want to get better cooler, then go for 212+, but you need big casing like Thermaltake V3 to fit it, else you can't close side panel.

how much 212 cost?casing coolermaster elite 430 can fit that cooler?

my BE965 is at 37 idle n below 55 full load..using TX3

how to overclock this p ii 965...can teach me?
i overclock it at 4ghz by add the multiplier up to 20x...
n increase vcore up to 1.5v...if not proc not stable...
how u oc without tweak voltage..can teach???
