You can always turn the Sensation to "Airplane mode" Meaning all cellular and wireless functions are turned off, but everything else is functioning. I always do this when flying.

oh ya... just remembered smartphones got use in airplane mode... can still play games... heh heh...

for dumbphones, airplane mode is kinda useless for me.

but back the the Q... i am kinda surprised this is not possible on smartphones. so much for being smart, like what benny888 said.

handson review of this phone @gurney this morning

solid-really good build quality but the tri colour is a turn off
camera-is awesome,really fast takes
apps-load pretty fast and smooth
weight-a lil heavy but really nice

gonna try sgsII soon then decide.
