I don't see manU fans whining. Why are you? It's just you looking at it that way.

oh no siree, we see it all right. Just dont wanna make a big commotion about it. But yeah if TS do at least have some respect to those who perished in footballing disasters, there's better names that can be used.

congrats, the better team won, fair and square, no questions at all.

Suarez proved to be a great buy. amazing skill for the first goal, and nearly capped another wonderful run had he not missed his shot.

Gosh, after the lost, MU did not do any interviews, no conference, even MUTV was blank! This has got to be one heck of a hammering. Only Rio Ferdinand twitted "Bad result today no excuses" and that was all!

he already canceled pre-match interviews before the match, this is mainly due to the Chelsea incident. And yes last night's match wont help the cause.

I don't know is it me or what. USUALLY saf will complain straight after the match which regards to Carra tackle and call for justice. Perhaps he quiet because Rooney did that in Wigan match too as well, should have deserved RED by elbowing wigan player.

I feel somehow, the referees community has been awaken since after KD had call for concerns on refereeing fairness. It's like the flow is against United now, you guys could see the Light tackle by Smailing during the Chelsea match. It cost them a winner by Chelsea.

I believe karma is running up to Man Utd, seriously...if SAF came in when he's a manager, his ambition is to achieve or break Liverpool jinx on 18 titles. I could only say that he is short sighted, which we have already been enjoying long ago.

The rivalry is not about Liverpool v Manchester United,

Its about SAF has made the rivalry of Man Utd v Liverpool, so the fans follow what his ambition. To knock us down! Any experienced Man Utd fans won't deny this fact which regards to SAF statement when he came in as manager.

But we, we don't know its lucky or unlucky, by the time when Man Utd gets their 18 titles and achieving for the 19th. KD came in, its like woah, is it all set up? dramatic first match against Man Utd at home with a funny decision which cost us to lose?

KD definitely known SAF long ago, anyone who watched Sky sports would know their oldest rivalry, KD being the defender and SAF being the striker.

How funny would be in the end both ended up different positions and obviously KD has achieved more as a player comparing to SAF.

But, I would willingly accept the fact that SAF is the most successful manager in modern football. Even KD couldn't fight the fact that how many league cup has won under SAF.

Indeed, SAF hold tough on his goal to beat Liverpool down, in trophies wise. I never see SAF came in and say : we want to beat Liverpool in terms on EUROPEAN CUPS. Lucky he din't say that, who knows it might happened? Ha Ha

Cheers guy, YNWA. Anyone interested in Liverpool this season jersey PM me.

I could buy it as cost and take home when I return. It cost RM125 , aka 25 pounds.

i think the MU-Liv rivalry has been long there before SAF joins. the rivalry started mainly due to non-football reasons actually, both cities being port cities. Liverpool was the dominant port city, before the Manchester canal opened and since then the citizens from both cities are taking the mickey over each other. And for English, what better way to bring this city rivalry to be "decided" other than football!

Oh, and there's no press conference by SAF or any other MU team is that they have called for an indefinite close-door policy after the FA charge over the Chelsea comments. there's not even a pre-match interview the day before the match. just FYI.

Yes, he was trained as a defender when he against SAF. Haha, the first time they met lolx.

But the rivalry begin really tough when SAF swear to beat our records, that's what make their basis of fighting for champions is about.

A team swear to beat a rival records. and the another team which hold the records doesn't even counter an attack against them, we just do our business..down or up, we are same old days lol. Cos we never like come out a statement, '' LIVERPOOL GONNA BEAT MANCHESTER RECORDS IN EUROPEAN LEAGUES'. Just scenario la chill.

u know they met each other when they both 10 years old. celtic v glasgow.

i am chill la, im just giving out some historical facts laugh.gif besides how can Liverpool beat MU's European League record when u guys won it more times than us right now tongue.gif SAF is just using the card to play to the fans, and by saying to beat Liverpool's record, it just shows that the rivalry is already long-standing event. Liverpool were very successful in the 80s and MU butthurt. then MU successful from 90s onwards and liverpool butthurt. i think that intensifies the rivalry.

this rivalry is an interesting one, somehow it is even bigger than United -City rivalry or Liverpool - Everton rivalry.

Lol, yala..liverpool older fans butthurt cos see many new man utd fans lan si there. thats what it became a norm especially malaysia, u go mamak right u dun dare to wear liverpool jersey if there's bunch of malays wearing man utd jersey.

so we butthurt also, very true reality, cos u never know what will happen when liverpool won the match and ur life got snatched by a gang of rempits of MU fan.

ha ha...cheers mate, thats the dilemma of a liverpool fan in Malaysia.

In UK, I see so many situations when they don't jeer each other, that only applies in the stadium. In pub, we watch together, sit together and talk football together. We admit Carra tackle is bad, sometimes will boo on Nani's facial expression and ridiculous climbing up and fell down again.

And we also curse Rooney action on Wigan James Mc Carthy on his elbow.

The difference in UK and our country, is that....they really do behave outside of the stadium. Of course there's bad apples, but not as many as in the mamaks right? Haha...cheers mate! you are truly the great fan.
*
haha sometimes we fans from outside UK are caught in the heat of the moment too, even though we have no local pride to fight for sweat.gif. and yes, the scene at mamak can really cause problems. I tried putting myself in rivals fans shoes and hell i would be damn annoyed if theres a bunch of MU fans claiming the "turf" because of majority. then tak pasal2 kena troll laugh.gif But dont put race issue la...generalization and stereotyping is not a good thing.

the stripes looks something like this version:

while the shirt design (collar, shoulder, sleeve etc) looks more like this:

Pics taken from liverpoolkits.com

I read somewhere it could be fake design, but from my knowledge the yellow away shirt is very prominent during the 80's, the Kenny's years so this could well be the new away shirt for u guys.

Carnival probably refers to the many stalls located outside the venue.

Anyway, the meet the team sessions, does that mean all the fans will be able to meet and greet and pics and siggy etc with the masters? drool.gif

Same thing can be said of the various MU clubs in Malaysia as well. There's official MU supporters, MyManutd and various other regional groups. Same can be said of our national team, there's the ultras and other groups. When there's an event that these groups come together, they always want to segregate and outstage each other. Sad, but it happens.
