it seems nowadays barcelona always put obscene amount of buyout clause for their players. liverpool should do that too.

watched the full match on saturday. some of my views:
1) lucas made quite a number of miss/intercepted passes, but he will always make it up few seconds later later by winning balls, mostly through interception
2) wigan looks more crisp in their passing. the useless international friendly has again, take it tolls on liverpool players.. come on la after the int friendly, even barca who previously slayed their opponents 3, 5-0 can only draw with a lowly team.
3) seems the team haven't clickin yet with suarez's style of play.
4) agger is 99999>skrtel
5) when is carrol coming? ngog is not that bad if he's playing for a midtable team.. but for a supposed-to-be top team like liverpool, ngog just doesn't have it

ngog is not good enough for liverpool. maybe he's good for mid-table team, certainly not good enough for liverpool.

couldn't agree more. i can bet teams like manchester, arsenal, chelsea, and even tottenham and city wouldn't take ngog even if he's free

i rate Ngog = macheda. ngog's not the type of player who can make something out of nothing.. other top 4 teams have better backup strikers: imho crouch, chicharito, bentdner > ngog. yes, I really agree he should be loaned out somewhere to gain experience. and yes, really hope the arrival of carrol will make ngog work harder

i think if chelsea misses CL spot next season, torres will beg to come to liverpool again. chelsea will sell him at half the price liv sold him. but I think Liv should teach him a lesson first before accepting him again. let him play in the reserve for a full season first before allow him to play in the 1st 11 again biggrin.gif

that's why I said.. ngog is only as good as macheda tops. he can't create something out of nothing, he's not as industrial as kuyt.. among the top teams, Liv has not got a capable backup striker.. it's best to loan him to somewhere for a while..

Ian rush loves malaysia... woohoo biggrin.gif

ngog's play today further cemented my opinion that liverpool have the worst backup striker among the top 6 contenders biggrin.gif. please loan him out somewhere.

seeing how everyone(including me) gives low rating on Ngog, I can't stop but wondering, Babel must be far worst than him since Ngog's pecking order seems to be higher than Babel... tongue.gif

anyway looking at the previous games, suarez should be the one who should take all the free kick with scoring distance from now on.. i think liverpool wasted 3 score-able free kick in the wigan game. only suarez's free kick hits the bar.. while others' before him ballooned to the sky

Added on February 26, 2011, 10:50 pmI know it's too late, but I think Liverpool should buy/loan obafemi martins during the january transfer biggrin.gif. He's on loan on Birmingham now with the option to buy him with only 5m later. 5m for a quite a proven striker like him is a very good buy, at least as a backup striker (compared to u know who biggrin.gif). he's wickedly fast and scores some good goals too

The chance for 4th place has definitely got weaker with this defeat, but I will not say "gone". Football can be rather unpredictable and we can still hope as long as it is mathematically possible.

Blooding more youngsters like Kelly and Wilson is definitely the way to go.  It's the only way to prevent disappointing defeats after an energy-sapping midweek game.

with last night's performance, 4th place is practically gone.

Due to UEFA regulations, Andy Carroll will be wearing No 29 in European competition this season.
