QUOTE(tape23 @ Feb 12 2011, 07:24 PM) right now u can just take Airasia to london and take a bus to Liverpool. the bus ride should be 40-50 quid. it just a matter of what you want to experience that will cost the doe. Haha nah it'd be a lot cheaper than that by bus. A return train ticket from london euston would be about £38 and takes 2 hours. I wouldn't recommend taking the bus because it'd take like 4 hours from london and you'll be really tired after - unless you're running on a really tight budget. I'd recommend to book a train but early. Book Atleast 3 weeks - 6 weeks before your journey. If it's not a huge number of people I wouldn't mind volunteering to get you guys the tickets. But don't forget, the larger the number of people the less likely it is for tickets to be available. Also, it's a lot easier to get tickets (especially for larger groups) if you pick a stand other than the Kop. Anyway, let me know if you guys end up making plans as I'll be in the UK all year except for April, December and the summer. Hope you guys end up going because it truly is a wonderful experience. I remember my first game at anfield - Liverpool 1 - 1 Middlesbrough two seasons ago, we were down 0-1 when mido scored in the 70th minute. Then carragher had a deflected shot go in on the 83rd minute. Then good ol' Stevie G scored on the 94th minute and anfield went wild Still doesn't beat the Liverpool 4-4 Arsenal though, that was the most amazing experience, bloody arshavin!! Hopefully Suarez starts and scores today, that'd be great COME ON YOU REDS |
