QUOTE(kamkamparadise @ Mar 7 2011, 01:02 AM) well, must be the shock. i still remember when one of my friend broke his leg in an accident, he didn't cry at all. probably due to the adrenalin and shock. yeah. i was expecting a goal from him given that he was brilliant throughout the game. so was meireles. why didn't he go for goal when he found a lot of space in MAn Utd box when suarez crossed the ball for him. Meireles brilliant run and drifting into the middle really did the trick. confusing Man Utd midfield and defence. I'd say Kyut and Suarez were the men of the match. Suarez was brilliant in attacking and giving the defenders problems. While, Kyut was chasing 4 defenders down pressuring them into making a mistake. I take my word back for not having enough faith in Kyut back then. He isn't very talented but Liverpool certainly needs a player like him. He might not have scored a lot of goals for Liverpool, but I will always remember his contributions for Liverpool. He is just top notched today.

I'll be honest, watching Man City, Tottenham, Chelsea makes me think we won't be in UCL spot this season. Just hoping the key players will stay on and try for next season. If we get 5th or 6th, I'll be satisfied for this season. But next season, I really hope we're back in the top four. We've improved dramatically. I believe we will improve even more.

Watching Wolves vs Tottenham game after Liv game. Amazing. scored tied 3 - 3. Tottenham boast one heck of an attacking line up but no, not quite there yet. Strongly believe Liverpool will get top four next season.

I lol-ed very hard when the players were having a go at each other after Rafael's challenge on Lucas. He just stood there with his arms fold watching the players shove one another like kids. Hahahahah! That probably made my day man.

Gosh, after the lost, MU did not do any interviews, no conference, even MUTV was blank! This has got to be one heck of a hammering. Only Rio Ferdinand twitted "Bad result today no excuses" and that was all!

Suarez is a good buy. He can score, he can dribble (a lot better than Torres), he chases down defenders(Torres doesn't do that), he has speed, he ain't afraid to take on defenders in tight areas. He is a masterclass. I really like what I see in him. Besides that, I see he is more of a team player than a player. Given the chance to have Torres (on form) or Suarez on my team, I'd pick Suarez.

When the almighty MU lose, they will blame it on someone or something. Yes, a very bad tackle from Carragher. Fans agree, MU people agree, Carragher himself agreed. Him apologising is not enough to change what was done but what else could he do other than that? MU wants him to be banned by the FA? Know this, MU is not the FA and FA is not MU. FA's decision is final and refs decision is final. Intentional or unintentional, the tackle has been made and this is football, a contact sport. Injuries like this will happen once in a while.
Besides that, Nani has always been the crying wolf type. Refs are always wary of players like this. In this case, the ref knew it was a bad tackle, he showed a yellow cause in his opinion, it was a rash but not intentional challenge.

QUOTE(tevez32 @ Mar 8 2011, 04:18 PM) I'm not here to troll. I'm sorry if you see me as trolling. Your first post in here was blasting Asian fans for self-proclaiming themselves best Liverpool fans in the world. First of all, you're being racist, if you ever met any Asian fans that are like that, then that's them, don't take it out on all the Asian fans. 2nd of all, if you wanna post in this thread, even if you're trolling, no one can stop you but I urge you to not troll. Just be nice man. We're nice if you're nice.

Let's drop the subject about Nani and Carra. We should look ahead to a rebuilding and improving Liverpool. The next 2 matches should be a Europa league. The next game is on this Friday morning 1.55am. Hope we get a trophy this season.

QUOTE(shenmue @ Mar 8 2011, 05:27 PM) im hoping to see dani pacheco make some appearance....ngog's getting way too much starts which he isn't making full use of it Yes, agree too that Pachecho should be given a chance. It's time to take that leap of faith and trust our young lads. Ngog should be loaned out to get more first team experience and develope. With the aquisation of Suarez and Carroll, it seems likely for him to be on the first team.

http://thekop.liverpoolfc.tv/_There-Goes-T...587/173471.htmlA lengthy article for Liverpool fans. Reccomended for those who think MU getting the 19th title will change things. It's a darn good read.

Hmmm... I thought it will end up with a draw or a 1 - 0 win for us. Too bad. Man City didn't have it better too, 2 - 0. Nevermind, the return leg in Anfield will be better. We'll beat them and beat them hard.

In my opinion it doesn't really matter if you registered or not. As long as you are a Liverpool fan then it is more than enough.

Yup, when I was in Australia, I walked into a bar and watched a Liverpool game. I was alone then, the bartender just started talking to me about football and stuff and had a good chat like we've known each other for years and a few others came and had a good laugh and enjoyed the game.
In Malaysia, I walked into a bar, the bartender was friendly but everyone else gave me the evil eye. I've met Liverpool fans who registered to be part of a community and I hated it. They thought themselves as superior fans from those unregistered. That's our culture here I guess.

QUOTE(hellsoldier33 @ Mar 18 2011, 01:03 PM) if i have the money i would sell 70% of the players. we are just not up to standard so to speak. first to sell, maxi + cole + lucas i don't want to expect much from lucas already, i rather get a normal midfielder that could be like essien , or a black midfielder, can tackle and scare the player off ... lucas just don't 'scare' the players...so they become daring to close down, and our players body so weak, when they appraoch , we find some way to pass and passed wrongly. sigh how many times seen this. Define normal "midfield player". Lucas is the most improved player this season I wouldn't sell him off and for Maxi and Joe Cole, Joe Cole is only in for a season, we'll see what happens next season. Maxi has his ups and downs. His movement on the pitch is quite good just that he needs to work on his deliveries and finishing. Black midfield player like Essien? You can't put in a player just cause he's black and black doesn't mean scary man. Johnson is black, is he scary? I think what you mean is a more mean looking and aggressive player like Mascherano. We were closed down pretty easily by the opposition but we had our chances as well. Carroll's header on goal blocked by Kyut's head.

QUOTE(Rotuham @ Mar 18 2011, 01:29 PM) Can u list me Maxi's contribution?he misses open goals,he cant run past defenders,he doesnt have a decent shot, cant make through balls.cant cross. So what have u been smoking? No need to get hostile man. Like I said, he needs to work on his deliveries and finishing but I do notice that he doesn't only move in his assigned position. He always gets in from the left to the middle to assist the attack while his teammate overlaps his position on the left. He may not be the best attacking option but he is not as bad as you state. I know he missed easy shots badly this season but you don't write off any players after one bad season.

QUOTE(Rotuham @ Mar 18 2011, 01:54 PM) Sorry if u found it offensive. He is not poor only this season.he was also pants since last season. He is not the maxi rodriguez that we know 4 years ago.he is past his best and perhaps came a little too late to epl.We cant afford average players in the team anymore. This will lead to over reliance on star players. Its already happening with suarez.there are too many average players in the team.whats the point of beating big teams when u cant beat small teams. This mentality is a small team mentality.I hope we are not. It's been this way ever since Rafa sold off several key players. I agree Maxi's performance has been average but it's not as bad as Cole's. I have not seen him contribute to the team. It's saddening to see that Liverpool is playing like a mid table team. It's just not where we belong. We need wingers now that we have 2 good strikers.

Yes, replace them both. For now, we don't have players who can play as wingers. Right now, KD has to "make do" with what he has. I have a feeling we're not playing in Europe next season. I am only worried about key players leaving. (Reina)
