last nite he missed passes the ball alot la n always look dead when min 70+ in every game..
as a midfielder he shuld control the tempo of the game.. not juz waitin sum1 feed him the ball to score..

last nite game the midfield is dead... i will not bash carrol if he cant score for the team if we r playin like tis,, he's keep coming down to middle to keep the ball up..

Define normal "midfield player". Lucas is the most improved player this season I wouldn't sell him off and for Maxi and Joe Cole, Joe Cole is only in for a season, we'll see what happens next season. Maxi has his ups and downs. His movement on the pitch is quite good just that he needs to work on his deliveries and finishing.

Black midfield player like Essien? You can't put in a player just cause he's black and black doesn't mean scary man. Johnson is black, is he scary? I think what you mean is a more mean looking and aggressive player like Mascherano. We were closed down pretty easily by the opposition but we had our chances as well. Carroll's header on goal blocked by Kyut's head.

No need to get hostile man. Like I said, he needs to work on his deliveries and finishing but I do notice that he doesn't only move in his assigned position. He always gets in from the left to the middle to assist the attack while his teammate overlaps his position on the left. He may not be the best attacking option but he is not as bad as you state. I know he missed easy shots badly this season but you don't write off any players after one bad season.
