In term of protection, I think both is d same. Linear come with 3 component, however hybrid come with black silicone & a option frame.

Both concept is different. It depend individual preference.

I would recommend u get d SGP Ultra Optic for SGS2 otherwise just stick with ultra crystal, in term of clarity ultra Oleophobic & ultra crystal which come with hybrid package is the same. Just crystal is better in screen hardness, Oleophobic got a oleo coating easier to clean smudge.
