Indeed. Neymar target refreshed. IMO Josh is the future 8 depending on how he develop, how highly we gonna rate him and how CA going to put him into his formation. I really hope that by next season he can play at least 20 games + substitutions and 30 games in overall competition. Hopefully this time we won't throw away young talents like Scott Sinclair, Ben Sahar, Di Santo and to be name a few. sad.gif
*
Di Santo couldnt make into the team for his standard now. I am not sure if he is a late bloomers. As for Sinclair, he got the pace, but his finishing wasnt really that good. The best youngster crops that we have is our current youth and reserve squad, in my opinion. Not only that they managed to won the Fa Youth cup, but also their participation in their respective U21/U19 team.

As aw13 was saying earlier, we might be clearing out our squard and rebuilding from fresh. Although the like of Neymar, Lukaku, Van der Wiel and several others promising prospect being linked to us, I do think that our current youngster like Sturridge, Kakuta, Bruma, Aanholt still has their future in our team, say 5-6 years from now.

And in lastest CA interview, he mentioned Luiz going to start, he doesnt confirm whether he;s going to play CB or fullback.

Borini scored hat trick in reserve games vs West Ham, how about that? Unfortunately, his future isnt clear at the moment. He might leave though.

Why so many of us keep thinking Ramires is holding midfielder. He is only good offensively, in fact he played as attacking midfielder for Brazil.
*
Agreed. He is just not. Yes, he can tackle, he can track back, but his positioning is weird. He's best to freely roam. If we can build Josh to start attack from deep, just like what Xabi Alonso and Pirlo used to do for their respective team, believe me, we can get the best out of Torres.

no luiz  doh.gif

New signings David Luiz and Fernando Torres are both ineligible, Luiz because he was not registered prior to the first meeting on January 29, and Torres for the same reason but also because he appeared for Liverpool in round three.-cfc.com-

my team lineup for tomolo;

---------------cech------------------
boss--ivanovic--terry--ashley-----
---------------mikel------------------
---------ramires--lampard---------
--------------anelka----------------
----------drogba-kalou------------

even i want josh but im pretty sure, lampard will play ..
*
Bos is out la bro. Most probably, Paolo going to fill in RB.

And for cup-tied, Torres case, for sure he cant take part in any FA cup game. How about Luiz? He still can play in the next round, right?

Really hard for ref to see from his angle. But the linesman has a perfect view.

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Feb 21 2011, 03:50 PM)
I have no problem if we play narrow, as long as there is sufficient creativity and movement on the field. If u noticed we created many clear-cut chances, which fell mainly to malouda and lampard respectively. They failed to put them away and that was the root of the problem. It was a much improved performance compared to fulham if u ask me, but we were just not clinical enough. Width wouldn’t have helped our woeful finishing.
Chill mate. Every signing will take time to adapt. After all those amazing goals he’s scored against us, I think he’s far from ‘suck.’ If it makes u feel any better he has at least  4 of his best years ahead of him. One worry though is he seems to have lost a bit of pace, so we have to rehabilitate that part of his game. When he’s on form, I assure u his finishing is on par with the likes of villa and pato.
*
I watched the highlight again and again and still couldnt believe those chance that were wasted. Started with Terry balooned the ball high, then Lampard, then Lampard then Malouda then Lampard.. I dont think our problem is creating chances anymore, coz we create chances, without any finishing. Torres was supposed to provide clinical finishing, let see how that goes.

Its good to see Drogba in his last game. One might say he didnt have any shot on target. But well, looking at his previous form, I would say he is improving. He bullied the defender again and again. see how many aerial ball he won with his chest. He tracked opponent back, and won the ball. His determination is what I missed.

Let hope our lads to the best in tomorrow's game.

3 months back, i was cursing that he really play "Bad"... but now he learn from mistake and play the attacking role that he was comfortable with and doing a good job, now i take my words back...

to me now he is the best and inform player at the squad...
*
The start of the season, he was like a stick running on the field without any clue. But now, he is everywhere on the pitch, running tirelessly. Won tackle, good pass, good decision making. I just wished he practice on his shooting as he got a lot of opportunity to try a long range shot.

Is this the session where Richard Keys went around asking Jamie, 'How was the girl? Did you smash it?' or something along that line.
*
I believe its is. They were talking about a girl Jamie going out or something. Emerge after the sexism comment by Keys and Gray.

just seen the highlight again , bout the goal from rooneys .. who should mark him ? we always concede goals like tat .. looks like a misscomunication between luiz & ivanovic .. n no holding midfielder in hole there .. essien & ramires both looks not interested to chase nani & rooney tat time ..
*
Miscommunication. Pardon them, since this is like their 2nd time playing together. At the end of the day, 3 points that matter.

QUOTE(plokoon @ Mar 4 2011, 12:01 PM)
Jenglots will definitely share his if given a chance and when are you sharing yours? tongue.gif

Apart from the 3rd kit, the rest are blank. Wanna leave it that way to preserve their lifespan and value. Haha!
*
I dont have huge collection as yours and aw13 notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Will try to catch up though.. hopefully

QUOTE(aw13 @ Mar 4 2011, 02:04 PM)
@madfag - a lot of ppl associate collecting kits with being rich i.e. kits are expensive to collect.  however, if you are really a good collector, you can easily get off-season kits for a mere fraction of the original price.  just need to keep your eyes peeled for the good deals!

sometimes kit collecting can help you remember about that particular season well, i.e. double winners' kit, Mourinho's back-to-back league wins' kit, etc etc.  by applying names and numbers, you can also remind yourself of the significance of that player, i.e. Drogba being top scorer in 0910, Anelka in 0809, etc.
*
Agreed with aw13. Some of the kits, you can get 50% off price, which is RM100++. When I was in U, what I did was, waiting for end of season sale. That time the price will surely be at least 30% off. Chelsea megastore asia also regularly offers 30% off. Just need to be alert.

We need to be caution on our game tonight. Reason why, I still remember last season, where all top team losing points. Everyone in that week either draw or lose.

Blackpool without Adam is like a ship without it captain. This is a game that we need to win, we are suppose to win, and we will win!

oh my. after copenhagen, city is coming to the bridge. we havent won them for the past few meetings and its a crucial game for us to cement ourselves on 3rd spot.

city has only conceded 1 in their last 5 games in all competition. scored quite a number of goals too.
*
They werent convincing againts Wigan. But their squad depth is awesome. With Johnson close to come back from injuries, I'll think we are going to have a bit of problem against Tevez and Co. But behold, Terry and Luiz is here, remember?

I reckon Malouda is bench, and Luiz to start. It just a minor knock.

yap I want to know the same thing..especially the prices...

Against MCITY...is a must WIN game...

Cech
Iva,Luiz,Terry,Cole
Ramires,Lampard,Essien,Malouda
Torres,Drogba

50-50 between Drogba or Nic
50-50 between Zhirkov or Malouda...

and we might play 4-3-3 Nic,Torres,Malouda...upfront..
*
If Kolarov is playing tomorrow, then that would be City weakest link. Hit there fast and hard during counter attack could cause a lot of problem to them. Expect a dashing run by Ramires down our right flank. Just need to be aware of De Jong fierce assault. That guy mad.gif mad.gif
