Hi guys, So I'm pretty bored here at my university hotel... Got myself a wireless broadband and suddenly got an idea of playing a mmorpg but the problem is... I don't know which mmorpg is the best and got a server from Malaysia... The most important is.... I WANT EM' FREEEE!~~ Anyone can suggest me any mmorpg games that I can play? Some that came up on my mind are ragnarok and mapplestory.. Any help would be appreciated... Thanks in advance. Oh wait this is console couch~ This post has been edited by poyohebat: Feb 7 2011, 09:44 PM

I'm pretty sure there are tunneling services for Guild Wars or something, I used one for World of Warcraft and it worked out just fine. I think apart from Asian MMOs(which are the ones I hate the most), you're pretty much out of luck for Malaysian servers.

Malaysian server? Tough luck. I'd recommend you pick up Silkroad Online if you want a massive mindless grindfest to pass time. Triangular conflict's fun though. The only thing that stopped me from playing was the insane amount of grinding and powerlevelling I had to do and the heavy penalties for dying.

Oh wow... the thread moved lol.
Thanks for the replies guys.... but most mmo for malaysia is quite.... too much chinese culture in it... It's not like I didn't like em' but it's like, every mmo is the same.

Yeah, it's always a shitsucker living in a country which well renown gaming companies willfully ignore. No regional servers, no attempts made to address lag...thank goodness for tunneling.

If you don't mind browser games, a couple springs to mind. Most notably Travian.
