<3 this, love the fact that JoikuSpot Premium is pre-installed.  Tethering FTW!!
RRP- USD $500 though, not sure how's this gonna match with the price of BB Bold Touch.

Even at 1500mah, it can only last for 3-4 hours of internet tethering rolleyes.gif

Nokia X7 and E6 Symbian Anna phones start shipping into obsolescence
user posted image
While we eagerly await Nokia's first Mango device, millions of others (we're told) have been patiently anticipating shipments of the first Symbian Anna smartphones. Well, today's the day, good sir. Nokia just loosed its 4-inch X7 media slab and E6 portrait QWERTY with 326ppi display into the shipping lanes. Look for the E6 worldwide while the X7 will skip the US carriers (as expected) targeting the friendlier Symbian climates of Europe, Eurasia, China, India and other countries around AsiaPac. Huzzah?

Symbian Anna is better than WP7? I personally prefer WP7 because it's a whole lot smoother than Symbian. biggrin.gif

I don't know why people love Blackberry. The keys are freaking hard to press. The keys on Nokia's similarly designed phones such as E71, E72 are even better to be used than the ones on Blackberry. laugh.gif

Add BBM to Nokia, and Blackberry will have zero sales? biggrin.gif

Demm, the browser keep reposting my posts laugh.gif

Anyway, yep, Whatsapp doesn't have to be running to receive the message.

Whatsapp is forever running FYI. Nokia internet conenction stays active for Whatsapp and kills the battery. >.< Even the largest capacity battery by Nokia @ 1500mah is very very bad if you're running whatsapp on Symbian devices. doh.gif

Yeah, stop using data and use wifi lor.
Yes, whether or not whatsapp is running or not, there seem to be a background service that will keep activating data connection. When I was posting earlier, it keep running. But now check again, it activate data connection, run for a few seconds then stop liao. But it did not kill the data connection. I wonder if inactive is same as having it turned off. Gonna ask Nokia later.
Not sure what you wanna show there. Try activate whatsapp and see if the data comes on automatically or not lor. I killed whatsapp also it still connect. You can goto Connection Manager to see which app activate the data what. Try switch if off by long press the RED disconnect key and see if it on data again (quite fast, 10 to 15 seconds).

The connection is still active and unlike on iPhone which doesn't seem to drain battery even when it's active. Whatsapp on Symbian is a headache cause Nokia devices drain extremely lot of battery power when data connection is active. doh.gif

owh, torch light doesn't work when power saving mode is activated.

Pls check if you are running on power saving mode if  your torch light is not functioning.

Added on July 17, 2011, 12:08 pmoops, doesnt work on normal mode too? Probably because of low battery? Need to install 3rd party torch like as a backup.
