im not updating mine, because the update changelogs show only minor improvement. also, im using this phone to take picture as well. what point if i update then the quality picture will decrease?

Haha so u dont update yet. same goes with me. but i doubt they will released PR 2.0 on this 15th. As stimix said, even they even delay PR1.1, is there any difference with PR2.0? tongue.gif

my N8 default browser couldnt handle this page. some1 posting really huge files. now using opera jo problem bcoz he put spoiler. opera wont load if its stay inside spoiler

Haha, if Nokia start to make DSLR, then other company like Nikon & Canon will start producing phone? I laugh when Garmin as well make a phone, and Asus (mostly known in Computer/Notebook world) make a phone as well.

any1 tried bublelock from Nokia Beta Labs? i found 1 bug, when u lock then phone, try press the camera button. it wont unlock yes thats for sure, but the colour will become werido. lol

correct me if im wrong, if compression is high so the quality will reduce. hence the picture wont really sharp and detai but the size will be smalle. right?

I updated 2 days ago Pr1.1, OTA,
the whole process took 5 minutes and 7mb...
Product code 0599756 - Dark Grey France.
I opted for OTA because of much anticipated PR2.0
when I will do a clean install
First I uninstalled v4.0 (thank you sklchan for this mod)
and I have not installed back after

What I noticed after the update:
- not as fast as I would have expected ... sad.gif (Surely because of OTA, not clean install)
- same free memory on C: (Surely because of OTA, not clean install)
- 1 or max 2 MB free ram plus (Surely because of OTA, not clean install)  dry.gif
- the date format changed of dd.mm.yyyy to yyyy.mm.dd,
I noticed that when I introduced a new meeting on the calendar
- and the worst thing was an unexpected restart after I sent a text message,
which never happened on PR1.0... mad.gif
- I noticed the WiFi transparent icon in the top right when is ON
- 3 columns photo
- 'half' landscape dialer...  doh.gif
- no reddish bug before, no reddish bug after
(I think this bug is from the light sensor not from AMOLED screen, just my opinion)

Eagerly waiting for PR2.0

Hi there. welcome to this thread. by the way, thanks for commenting the new firmware. as i thought its useless to have it. now have full confidence just wait PR2.0 is coming.

p/s: i change my mind if i sklchan update his mod. who dont want an update if its there in first place? brows.gif
