I had a few contractor friends who are in house renovation business and they did share with me on some of the hardship that they has had faced in interior design as well as renovation business. There is this company by the name Y - E - S - Design (yes it should be read as "yes") which the owner of the business is call ALEX.

As good contractors themself, they face much difficulties in running business with this company and face many hardship as there are many clients whom has been cheated by the owner (Alex), yet house owner only recognizes the contractors whom are involve in cabinets, wardrobe and other works handling.

As house owner usually only dealt with the renovation company, the owner of this renovation company somehow taken the money yet does not want to deliver the goods to owner...guess who gets to be blame?!
Contractors like my friends will get the full blame simply because the company owner tell lies to them indicating that the contractors has taken the money and run away and thus unable to continue with the renovation. Some of the owner may be slightly luckier than others that is if they do paid additional money after negotiate with the renovation company owner ALEX!

So, imagine if your house renovation is sum up of 40grand; you might end up paying 60grand as the company owner Alex will definitely ask for another top of of 30-60% from the original price in order to
continue with the renovation works.

There is this owner who blame contractors for doing poor job on their kitchen cabinet, wardrobe and some other renovation works. Wants to know why poor job took place even after owner has paid additional 50% of the whole sum? This is mainly because the renovation company owner Alex (Y-E-S Design, and yes it is call as "Yes"), tells the contractors to deliver the cheapest material and workmanship as owner does not care on workmandship and material used as long as the price is cheap..and this rotten egg owner will pin down the contractor on the prices and etc or else he will seek for other contractors.

Having no choice but to continue in the renovation business, they proceeded with the job offer having little to knows about the truth.

Apparently the last job that my friends had with this rotten owner has some revealing of the truth when the house owner seek my contractor friends out on the poor workmanship and material used even after the owner has paid the sufficient funds for high quality material with no compromises. My contractor friend told the owner everything that the rotten owner has told and instructed them as well as the exact amount that they have been paid.

Now my contractor friends has had cut their ties with that renovation company owner as they realize that dealing business with such unethical renovation company would only create bad name for themselves. To clear up their good name and to vent their frustration with the renovation owner Alex; they has had seek my help to post this story so that other house owner as well as contractors or renovation company would stay away from the owner ALEX whose company name is Y-E-S Design which is located in Puchong Malaysia.
